‘My Fault: London 2’ Sequel Theories: Will It Be The Same As ‘Your Fault’?
Credits: Prime Video
Stepping into My Fault: London, I wondered why they would make a remake of a globally popular movie so soon after its success. But the film makes subtle changes that definitely bring a newness to the story, more specifically for what’s coming next. There is one major difference between My Fault: London and Culpa Mia: Nick isn’t estranged from his mother. Here’s your spoiler warning for Culpa Tuya if you haven’t seen that one. In the Spanish films, Nick is estranged from his biological mother but close to his younger sister, who he believes is a half-sister. In My Fault: London, Nick and his mom are close, and she isn’t at all the glamorous mother we see in the Spanish films. She’s a recovering alcoholic, and though Nick doesn’t appreciate what she did, leaving him at the tender age of 12, I wouldn’t say they’re estranged. They still talk when he drops by to visit his sister. But what does this mean for the story, and what direction will the sequel film take?
Nick’s Mum Will Play A Different Kind Of Role
In Culpa Tuya, Nick’s mum is labeled a cheater, but it turns out that his father and Noah’s mum were the ones who actually cheated, and that Nick’s half-sister is actually his dad’s daughter too. This is a major conflict in the film because his mom sets Noah up to break the news to Nick, seeing as Nick isn’t interested in listening to a word she has to say. Seeing that Noah and his mom are in cahoots leaves Nick furious, which leads him to make rash decisions. But we know that Nick in My Fault: London isn’t as impulsive as Nick in Culpa Miya. Now, it’s possible that we will still learn that Nick’s dad cheated while he was still with his mum, but I don’t think it’ll be as big a problem as it was in the original film. Maybe it’ll be more about Nick and his mom mending their relationship. The film is more targeted at emotional baggage than pure sex appeal (in comparison to the original films), so I’d imagine this will be Nick’s trauma-healing phase.
Nick and Noah’s Parents Will Learn Of Their Relationship
At the end of Culpa Mia, Nick and Noah are found out by his dad, and this is the major conflict of the second film. While they are seen together in public, the parents are completely against their relationship. At the end of My Fault: London, the parents still don’t know they’re together, but they sense a closeness between them. It is going to be odd to explain that the step-siblings are in love with each other. This will probably take center stage in the sequel.
This film will be all about betrayal
The film is titled Culpa Tuya because it’s about Nick cheating, which leads to Noah cheating too. In the Spanish version, we’re introduced to two new female characters, Briar and Sofia. Sofia is a second love interest for Nick because the whole world wants them together, seeing as he can’t be dating his step-sister. Sofia is a good person, though, and she can sense what’s going on between the two of them. We know that Noah hates betrayal more than anything, so I’m curious to see how Sofia’s character will be introduced in the London version and if Nick himself will cheat and ruin things for him and Noah. Alternatively, the betrayal could be in the boxing ring again.
Briar is a character from Nick’s past. She’s a girl he used to date, but during one of the races, they were in a big accident, which led to Briar being severely injured. Nick’s grandfather had her institutionalized, and Nick never learned that she was pregnant with his child. Now, while the Spanish version is more focused on drama, I feel like the English one is more aesthetically dark. I have a feeling this means that even if we get a character like Briar, she will not be as cruel (for lack of a better word). Plus, I feel like the English version will give her more of a character, rather than her just being a crazy ex-stalker.
Lion May Have A Bigger Role To Play
In the Spanish films, Lion has money problems, and Nick is always willing to help him, but this makes Lion angry, because why is his friend essentially trying to buy him out? It is, of course, not that, but in the typical way of things, the class difference becomes a major problem in their friendship. In the English film, I feel like the friends have much smaller roles, and their characters aren’t as developed or, rather, at the forefront. I have a feeling there’ll be some extension of Lion’s character, and we might get to see a little bit of this conflict in the second film. Poor dude’s already caught a beating for Noah; wonder what’ll come next.
They Will Break Up In The End
The end of Culpa Tuya is a sad breakup because both parties have betrayed each other in different ways. If Nick becomes violent again in the English version, there’s a chance Noah will be furious and betray him too. It could be like they have a mini break-up, but then Nick realizes he’s made a mistake, though it’s too late by then. The end of the movie has to be sad, though, presumably for the setup of an exciting 3rd film. The setup of the two versions is different, but the resulting outcomes will likely be the same.
