Your Fault recap
Before we break down the ending of Our Fault, here’s a quick summary of how the second installment ended. In Your Fault, Noah and Nick’s relationship gets messier as they navigate new environments and relationships. Noah begins college and shares an apartment with Briar, an enigmatic and fun girl who is later revealed to be Nick’s ex. Meanwhile, Nick starts working for his father’s law firm alongside an attractive colleague, Sofía, which creates tension between him and Noah.
Their bond is further tested during the gala when it’s revealed that Maggie is not just Nick’s half-sister but also the daughter of his parents, William and Anabelle. Nick, already harbouring resentment toward his mother for leaving him, becomes upset that Noah had assisted her in certain matters. Their differences escalate when Nick ends up kissing Sofía. Later, in a vulnerable state, Noah is taken advantage of by Michael, a college staff member and friend of Briar. This act was planned by Briar, who held a grudge against Nick; she had previously claimed she was pregnant with his child but lost the baby following a car accident.
The film concludes with Noah visiting her father’s grave to begin confronting the trauma she associates with him, while Nick prepares to move to London for a promising legal career, signalling a potential new chapter for both of them.
Our Fault ending explained: Do Noah and Nick find their happily ever after?
The story of Our Fault (Culpa Nuestra) picks up four years after Nick and Noah’s heartbreaking separation in Your Fault. Nick, the charming heir, is now in London handling operations at the headquarters of the Leister firm, while Noah, a fresh graduate, is doing odd jobs to support herself.
They are left with no option but to face each other at their best friends Jenna and Lion’s wedding in Ibiza. But during her flight to Ibiza, Noah meets this enigmatic guy named Simon, who later ends up being her boss.
Nick and Noah reunite at a wedding
Jenna and Lion carefully orchestrate a mission to reunite both Nick and Noah, forcing them together in intimate situations. They are the maid of honour and the best man, which requires them to be together on multiple occasions, and despite their best efforts, they end up sleeping with each other. Old habits don’t die that quickly. However, instead of addressing their differences regarding where they stand with each other, Nick realises it was a mistake and decides to walk away from her.

Nick faces a professional setback, and Noah begins a new chapter with Simon
Nick tries to incorporate modern techniques into his family business, but these changes end up costing people their jobs, leading to protests and growing resentment toward his family. He goes against the board to implement new technology, which upsets even more people. Meanwhile, Noah starts a new job at Simon’s tech company and begins a new relationship. Interestingly, it’s the same company Noah invested in, making her technically both Nick and Simon’s boss. Jealous of this, Nick invents a policy forbidding romantic relationships with colleagues, all while faking a romance with Sophia to improve his image in the press.
Nick’s mother’s death and Maggie’s dilemma
Maggie is still trying to process that William is her father, but she remains at odds with him despite Nick and Noah’s best efforts. However, things shift when Anabelle, Nick and Maggie’s mother, dies of leukaemia. At her funeral, Noah delivers a heartfelt speech about acceptance and forgiveness that moves everyone in the room, including Nick, who had still not forgiven her for what he perceived as cheating when she went to Michael’s place on the night of the gala.
Noah’s secret pregnancy
Meanwhile, it’s revealed that Noah is pregnant with Nick’s child, but she chooses to hide it from him, believing she can survive and raise the child without his involvement. Michael, who discovers Noah’s secret while working at the hospital after losing his faculty job, uses this information to threaten Sophia and secure his new job.
The final chase
After his mother’s funeral, Nick decides to make things right with Noah. He breaks up with Sophia, reconciles with Noah, and even buys a new necklace for her. However, Noah has decided to leave the city after ending things with Simon and start a new life elsewhere. Just as she is leaving Jenna and Lion’s house, Nick learns about her secret pregnancy and realises he is the father—even though he would have accepted the child regardless of whether it was Simon’s. Noah still tries to walk away, but Nick chases her, and they both end up at their parents’ mansion, where an old employee who lost his job due to the changes Nick implemented in the company shoots at her.

Upon waking, he realises he is now a father and reunites with Noah and their son, and the three of them begin a fresh start as a family. However, they still face hidden enemies. On a stormy night, Briar breaks into their house, attempting to take their son, claiming he is the child she lost in the accident years ago. She enlists Michael’s help, who still harbours resentment toward Noah and Nick after being fired from his new job. With nothing to lose, he decides to attack Nick while Briar tries to steal the child, but with the help of their dog, Nick and Noah manage to subdue both of them, finally eliminating their last set of enemies—hopefully for good.
A happily ever after for Nick and Noah
After welcoming their son, Nick and Noah finally tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony attended by their parents. In a dreamy celebration, they exchange heartfelt vows and say “I do,” opting to forgo the traditional limousine for a racing car, symbolising their adventurous journey together. As they speed away, they relive the memories of their first kiss, their beachside romance, and all the trials and triumphs that brought them to this perfect moment.

Despite its popularity, the Culpables film series has received mostly poor critical reception, and Our Fault is no exception. The movie leaves several questions unanswered and many loose ends open to interpretation. For instance, did Noah and Nick’s parents ultimately accept their relationship? If so, how have the family dynamics evolved since then? On screen, they appear to be a happy, united family, with Nick and Noah moving beyond step-siblings to husband and wife, but the details of their full reconciliation remain largely left to the audience’s imagination.
