SHOCKING CHOICE: In My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2, Jackie’s torn between Cole and Alex ⚡🔥 Secrets, heartbreak, and forbidden feelings collide, making her decision the most explosive moment of the season

The finale ends in a confrontation between Jackie and two of the Walter brothers.

Jackie Howard’s love life ended on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 1 of “My Life with the Walter Boys.”

The Netflix series follows a Manhattan teen who moves to Colorado after losing her family. She now lives with her late mom’s best friend and her many (many) kids — eight, plus two cousins living with the family.

Jackie has a “thing” with two of the Walter boys: Younger brother Alex (Ashby Gentry) and older brother Cole (Noah Lalonde). She dates Alex in Season 1 — then kisses Cole in the finale. It’s enough to send her running away for the summer back to New York.

Come Season 2, Jackie tells Alex that she and Cole had kissed. He’s livid and confronts his brother, who tries to apologize. Alex doesn’t accept the apology.

But it doesn’t take long for Alex to decide that he can’t get over Jackie and, despite some other flirtations, they get back together. Still, Cole and Jackie share a few longing glances, indicating things aren’t quite over between them.

“This season, Jackie’s ready to face everything a little bit more head on. Season 1, she pushes everything away and runs away from her problems. And I think Season 2, she’s trying not to do that,” Nikki Rodriguez, who plays Jackie, tells TODAY.com.

Who does Jackie end up with in the end of ‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ Season 2?

Season 2 ends with Jackie at a crossroads between both Cole and Alex, and possibly about to lose them both.

Earlier on in the episode, Cole stumbles on Alex and Jackie kissing and seems upset. He confronts Jackie about getting back together with Alex.

“I was giving you space, like you asked. But I thought we had something. So I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out why you’d be with my brother — again,” Cole says.

“We said that we were going to be friends,” Jackie says.

“We’ve never just been friends,” Cole says.

Jackie says she “can’t be” with someone who makes her feel the way Cole does. It’s then that Cole declares he loves Jackie. She admits she loves him too.

“Why would being with me be so awful?” he asks.

She indicates it has something to do with her history and the trauma of losing her family. Cole makes her feel out of control _ and she can’t have that.

“When we kissed, it was the only time I ever stopped thinking about everything … I felt very free, like I was out of control. And I can’t have that. I can’t lose control,” she says.

Then — surprise, surprise — Alex reveals that he’s heard the entire conversation.

What do the actors think will come next?

Speaking to TODAY.com, Rodriguez addressed the question of “Cole or Alex” head-on.

“I get this question a lot, and I always say ‘Team Jackie.’ I mean it — I think that I think Jackie should follow her heart wherever that leads her to,” she says.

Rodriguez says Jackie is afraid to make a decision. “Jackie ultimately doesn’t want to hurt anybody, and she doesn’t want to make any mistakes. She tries to be this perfect version of herself all the time,” she says.

Meanwhile, after a season with Jackie, Noah Lalonde says Cole has made a decision about Jackie.

“When Jackie enters Cole’s life, he’s in a vulnerable position. Then here comes Jackie, having just lost her family and having somehow gotten back up. She serves as an inspiration to him … and as that develops, I think he realizes that she’s just the type of person you’d want to spend your life with,” Lalonde says.

Alex, meanwhile, is experiencing deja vu — he has been in this position before. In Season 1, we learn that Cole had hooked up with a girl Alex was seeing. Cole later says he didn’t know her connection to his brother.

When asked for his reaction to the declaration of love, Gentry says, “He’s probably thinking, ‘Bruh, again?’ I think he is just confused. So hopefully he’ll get some answers.”
