There’s a part of the boxer that we hadn’t seen before
Ryan Garcia also knows how to show a vulnerable side in addition to the one the public is used to. After weeks of appearing in the headlines and not for the best reasons, Ryan was now honored in the United Kingdom at the House of Parliament.
After speaking in front of more than 20 leaders, Ryan received the “Spirit Fighting” Award for his influence and efforts in boxing. Garcia expressed on Instagram that he was completely grateful for the honor. One of the things he said during his acceptance speech was to do everything possible to save the children of the world who suffer for various reasons.
On the way to being awarded, Ryan was preparing for a night full of emotions, which began during the taxi ride. The boxer showed his sensitive side by posting a video to his Instagram stories in which he tagged American singer Leon Bridges. According to the boxer, his song “River” always gets him and fills him with emotions.
Ryan Garcia seems to be in good spirits, likely also because a few days ago he stated that he is willing to step into the ring if Mike Tyson cannot fight Jake Paul. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the cards have been put on the table. Several people found it in poor taste to offer himself in such a way, not knowing fully how Tyson was after the scare.
However, it has been reported that Tyson is recovering after experiencing dizziness and nausea on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
