Cardi B confronted a journalist who inquired about rumors that she is pregnant with baby No. 4 outside a Los Angeles courtroom Sept. 2.

While making her way out of a Los Angeles courtroom Sept. 2, the “I Like It” rapper was asked about speculation that she is pregnant with baby No. 4 amid her divorce from estranged husband Offset and her romance with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
As the journalist inquired about the possible paternity of her rumored child, Cardi, 32, appeared to take a pen from someone asking her to sign an autograph before turning her attention to the line of questioning.
“Stop disrespecting me,” she said after seemingly throwing the pen in the journalist’s direction, as seen in a video of the exchange shared on Instagram. “You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that.”
The Grammy winner—who shares kids Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 11 months, with Offset—went on to accuse the press person of sexist reporting.
“Do you see women asking those types of questions to me?” she asked. “Why do you feel, as a man, you get to ask me those types of questions?”
Before getting into her waiting SUV, Cardi added, “Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you [to] respect women.”
The “Bodak Yellow” artist’s recent court appearances relate to an ongoing lawsuit brought on by a former security guard, who alleged that Cardi (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) assaulted her outside of a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office in 2018, according to court documents obtained by NBC News.

While Cardi admitted to a verbal exchange with the plaintiff, she denied spitting on or scratching her as alleged in the lawsuit.
As for where she stands with Offset, he addressed the end of their marriage on his new album Kiari, rapping about moving forward from their breakup on the closing track “Move On.”
“It’s about moving on peacefully,” the Migos alum (real name Kiari Cephus) told the Associated Press in August. “It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on, it’s over and done with.”

The couple celebrated their little one on the way with a fairytale baby shower that summer.
“It was a special moment for Offset and Cardi, and you could tell there was a lot of love between them and in the room,” a source previously told E! News. “They are both very excited about the baby coming and are counting down the days.”

Cardi and Offset’s daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, was born July 10, 2018, with her joining his kids Jordan, Kody and Kalea from previous relationships. And the “Bodak Yellow” artist said the Migos members chose the newborn’s name.

Shortly after Cardi revealed their split, Offset took to Instagram with an emotional plea that he later featured on his Father of 4 debut studio album.
“We’re going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media,” he said in the video. “I want to apologize to you, Cardi. I embarrassed you. I made you go crazy. Last that fall, the “WAP” artist filed for divorce from her husband after three years of marriage. In the divorce filing, obtained by E! News, Cardi’s legal team stated the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”

“I feel like our first year, even though we were in love with each other, we had a lot of lust,” she told Essence in a 2022 cover story. “We didn’t really know each other like that, because he was doing four shows a week. The “Up” rapper also shed some light on why she called off their divorce back in 2020.
“The main thing that I wanted him to stop and everything, he stopped and he changed,” she explained on a January 2023 episode of The Jason Lee Show, “and it showed me that he wanted to change for me.”
As time went on, Cardi added, she and Offset were “getting better and better” and she soon learned they were expecting baby Wave. She then decided to give Offset another chance, noting, “You could just see when somebody’s trying.”

“I think it through,” she told Rolling Stone that same month about the state of their marriage. “We think it through, because we do love each other. It’s not even about love. We’re best friends.
