If you’re sad that The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming to an end, don’t worry! Netflix has you covered with the long-awaited Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys. Based on the book by Ali Novak, the series follows Jackie as she finds her new life in a small town after tragedy strikes. When Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) finds herself torn between the Walter boys, Cole (Noah LaLonde) and Alex (Ashby Gentry), it is a classic case of “Who is she going to choose?” Between Jackie and Belly (Lola Tung) on The Summer I Turned Pretty, it is a tough time for brothers on our beloved YA shows. And now you can see first-look images of My Life With the Walter Boys Season 2 as well as a trailer for the second season!

In the new images, we get to see Jackie at a dance, the family all together at a dinner, and Alex with a new girl who has everyone on edge, especially Jackie. Some of the images include Sarah Rafferty as Katherine and Marc Blucas as George, together on their ranch in Colorado. The images come along with the trailer that hints that Jackie still isn’t sure which of the Walter boys has her attention!

The synopsis for Season 2 is as follows:

“After leaving Silver Falls following Alex’s love confession and her kiss with Cole, Jackie Howard spent the summer in New York City. When Katherine convinces her to return to Colorado, Jackie is determined to make amends with Alex and set boundaries with Cole while finding her place within the Walter family. But fitting back in isn’t that easy. Alex – who changed a lot over the summer – isn’t too thrilled about Jackie’s attempts to reconnect, as he’s focused on training for a risky rodeo event (and enjoying all of the new attention he’s getting). Meanwhile, Cole takes on a new role at school, but when that doesn’t quite fill the void left by not playing football, his old ways creep back in and cause drama. As Jackie gains acceptance in Silver Falls while trying to hold onto her Howard identity, she’s forced to make a choice that could destroy everything she’s worked to rebuild.”

Both Jackie and Belly are two girls who are trying to navigate their feelings for boys they’ve known for a long time. And the fact that both protagonists are in love with a pair of brothers helps to fill the void now that The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming to an end. With Season 2, it does seem like Jackie has a lot to unpack if her feelings for Alex are being tested by a new girl in his life — and, after waiting for nearly two years for Season 2, fans are going to be excited to see where this journey takes Jackie.
