Manuel Garcia-Rulfo – Confirmed to Return
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will of course be back in the leading role of Mickey Haller!
Here’s the character description, from Netflix: Our titular hero got his name because he eschews a brick-and-mortar office for one on wheels: namely, his Lincoln SUV. But he’s forced to put down roots when a fellow lawyer, Jerry Vincent, mysteriously dies and leaves his entire practice — and entire case load — to Mickey. Born in Los Angeles and raised partially in Mexico by his mother, Mickey is just returning to work after a hiatus. (He became dependent on prescription pain pills following an accident, but has now kicked the habit.) He has two ex-wives (with whom he’s still very friendly) and relies on a client turned driver to chauffeur him around his hometown.
Becki Newton – Returning
Becki Newton is returning as Lorna Crane!
Here’s her character description, from Netflix: Mickey is close to his second ex-wife, Lorna, too. So close, in fact, that she’s his office manager and paralegal of sorts. (She was once a promising law student, but never finished her JD.) Although they’ve been split for years and Lorna is engaged to Cisco, they still admire each other.
Jazz Raycole – Returning
Jazz Raycole is returning as Izzy Letts!
Here’s her character description, from Netflix: Originally one of Mickey’s clients, Izzy is a former professional dancer who’s recovered from a painkiller addiction. When she doesn’t have enough money to pay for Mickey’s services, he offers her a job instead: as his personal driver. Mickey may practice law from the back seat of a Lincoln, but Izzy’s the one in the driver’s seat.
Angus Sampson – Returning
Angus Sampson will be back as Dennis ‘Cisco’ Wojciechowski!
Here’s his character description, from Netflix: In addition to being Mickey’s key investigator, Cisco is also Lorna’s fiancé. He’s a former biker gang member with street smarts to spare and plenty of LAPD connections that come in handy. Like everyone else, he’s also on Team Mickey (despite being engaged to his ex-wife).
Neve Campbell – Returning as a Series Regular
After having a reduced role in season three, Neve Campbell will be back full time as a series regular for season four!
Here’s her character description, from Netflix: Deputy district attorney Maggie is also Mickey’s first ex-wife and mother of his daughter, Haley. Maggie deeply believes in the justice system, which is occasionally at odds with Mickey’s view of the power structure in the US. (He fights for the underdogs who don’t have the power of bureaucracy behind them.) Maggie and Mickey divorced because Mickey lost himself in his work instead of focusing on his family, but there are still sparks between the two.
Elliott Gould – Returning
Elliott Gould will be returning as Legal Siegal.
Here’s his character description, from Netflix: David “Legal” Siegel is the former partner of Haller’s late attorney father. When Haller needs advice, he turns to Siegel for his irreverent humor and wisdom.
Krista Warner – Returning
Krista Warner is returning as Hayley Haller.
Here’s her character description, from Netflix: Hayley is Mickey and Maggie’s daughter, who sometimes has qualms with her father’s representation of criminals.
Constance Zimmer – Joining
Constance Zimmer has joined the cast as a series regular portraying the role of Dana Berg.
Here’s how Deadline described the character: “A colleague of Maggie’s from her days in the LA DA’s office, Dana is a relentless prosecutor who will let nothing stand in the way of a guilty verdict, a single-mindedness which has earned her the nickname “Death Row Dana.” A fierce and ruthless adversary who bends the rules to her advantage, she is the last person Mickey wants to find himself going up against in what will be the trial of his life.”
Sasha Alexander – Joining
The Morning Show‘s Sasha Alexander has booked a recurring role in season four as FBI Agent Dawn Ruth.
According to Netflix, “She and her colleagues interrupt Mickey’s dinner to not-so-subtly threaten him to drop his investigation, or else…”
Cobie Smulders – Joining
Cobie Smulders will appear in the season 4 finale of the series, and her character apparently has the potential to return for a fifth season, should the show get renewed!
Deadline reports that she’ll be playing a character named Allison, who is “an important character connected to Mickey Haller.”
All the Confirmed Guest Stars for Season 4
There are several big guest stars this season!
Deadline reports that Superman & Lois‘ Emmanuelle Chriqui, Fire Country‘s Jason O’Mara, chef Nancy Silverton, The Oval‘s Javon Johnson, will all guest star, plus The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards, Ozark‘s Jason Butler Harner, and Paradise‘s Scott Lawrence will also appear this season.
Emmanuelle plays Jeanine Ferrigno, the girlfriend of a local gangster. She’s drawn into a criminal operation and ends up holding information that could be important to Mickey’s case.

Nancy appears as herself in a cameo, playing the celebrated chef and owner of Osteria Mozza.
Kyle plays Celeste, a glamorous Beverly Hills client who comes to Haller & Associates seeking Lorna’s help with a divorce, referred by a former client.
Jason plays Detective Drucker, a veteran Robbery Homicide investigator who becomes a persistent challenge for Mickey.

Yaya DaCosta – Exiting
Yaya DaCosta will not be returning as Andrea Freemann.
TVLine’s Matt Mitovich reports that Yaya won’t be back as season four “will focus on Michael Connelly’s ‘The Law of Innocence,’ which does not feature her character of Andrea Freeman.”
