It’s bad news for Devon fans
The ending of the new Netflix show Sirens was deeply unexpected, and left me with so many questions. Will Devon ever get together with Morgan? Will Simone come to regret all her life choices? Where can I get all of Julianne Moore’s outfits? Thankfully, the creator of Sirens, Molly Smith Metzler, has revealed what she thinks would happen to Michaela and Devon beyond the ending.
She believes Michaela was a high-flying lawyer before she met Peter, and she’ll return to this career now she’s done with him.
Molly Smith Metzler told the Radio Times: “I think she’s going to take a ding, but she’ll be okay. Maybe she’ll become a kind of lawyer that does something different, maybe an animal activism lawyer [or an] environmental lawyer, I don’t know. But I think that this is a character who’s going to land on her feet.”
However, Molly Smith Metzler reckons Devon would have a less positive life than Michaela beyond Sirens’s ending. Sorry.

Devon does not have a great weekend, does she?

She reckons Devon would start taking more time for herself than she used to, but her priority is still caring for her dad. There’s no romance or dramatic career change just around the corner.
Molly Smith Metzler explained: “She doesn’t have the luxury of even thinking about herself in that way… Maybe she will [eventually], though… Maybe this is her first step. She’s going to go back to Buffalo. I think she’s gonna take care of herself.”
Milly Alcock, who portrays Simone, has also shared what she reckons her character’s future would look like. It sounds like Simone is going to have a very busy schedule.
