‘XO, Kitty’ Season 4 is Probably Happening, Right?Netflix

Is the swoon-worthy ending of XO, Kitty Season 3 really the end of the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before spin-off series? Kitty spent the season spiraling over her future. So what does the future hold for the show? Here’s what we know about XO, Kitty season 4.

Has XO, Kitty been renewed for a fourth season?

Netflix has not yet made the call about whether or not XO, Kitty will be back for season 4. In the past, the show has been renewed about a month after the previous season dropped. So there’s still some time and no reason to worry immediately.

Spoilers for season 3 ahead! On one hand, Kitty and Min Ho getting together means that the show could close the book right there. They got over some major conflict. They defined their relationship. They declared feelings, like, three words eight letters feelings feelings. I would say that’s the end. But think about how much of Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky’s story we got after they officially became a couple! It ain’t over.

Speaking of, as a fan of any and all Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky Updates… it better be? That’s reason alone to keep the show going. If they’re going to keep tinkering with To All The Boys’ happily ever after it needs to be happy at the end. Capiche??

What would XO, Kitty be about & where would it even take place?

That’s a fair question, because season 3 takes place during Kitty’s senior year at KISS. There’s always some awkwardness when YA shows set in high school make the transition to college. How do you justify splitting the ensemble cast up? They can’t all end up at the same school together. It’s not realistic.

Our girl makes the decision to follow her sister to NYU at the end of the season after one last semester. Does it make sense to move the Seoul-set show to New York City? Would season 4 take place over that final semester, or over summer break? Much like Kitty and Min Ho on the plane to Portland, the direction the show takes is up in the air.

If XO, Kitty is renewed, when will season 4 it be on Netflix?

This is a teeny tiny bit tricky. There were just under two years between season 1 and season 2 and just over one year between season 2 and season 3. In an ideal world, the show gets renewed in May of 2026 and season 4 premieres next summer, maybe like August of 2027. But there’s definitely the possibility that it doesn’t come back until early 2028 instead.
