Her star-making role as Princess Margaret in seasons 1 and 2 of The Crown earned her many accolades, including a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Kirby’s last Netflix film Pieces of a Woman earned her an Academy Award nomination, and Night Always Comes looks like another vehicle for her to show off her versatility as an actor. She has a commanding presence, and it will be exciting to see how she leads a crime thriller.

It’s also refreshing to see Kirby continue to take on dramatic roles amid her Marvel ascension. She will be busy after Fantastic Four as she gears up for the next Avengers film. Hopefully, she will still have time to perform these kinds of roles, allowing the audience to see how extensive her range can be following her Netflix movie.
