Now, with whispers of a double life resurfacing in the jungle, fans are watching Aitch more closely than ever… and one detail about his past is suddenly raising eyebrows 👀🔥

Insiders tell us how ITV bosses overlooked any drama surrounding the star

THE jungle might not be a rapper’s natural habitat, but Aitch – real name Harrison Armstrong – certainly seems at home.
But his critics are questioning why a man who has repeatedly been accused of being problematic has been given such a platform. Here, we look into some of the his most controversial moments and the concerns about him – plus insiders tell us how he really landed a place.

Just two months ago, 25-year-old Aitch went viral for all the wrong reasons, accused of ‘violating’ his ex-girlfriend, Lola Thompson, after sharing a story about her getting food poisoning on their Bali holiday – claiming she soiled the bed they were both sharing.
It wasn’t the first time Aitch’s comments about women raised eyebrows. In the past, he has openly ranked famous women in order of who he fancies most, and some of his sexually explicit lyrics have caused particular upset.
So why does it all seem to be overlooked – particularly by ITV bosses?
According to our insider, there are “two very different sides to Aitch”. They told us: “There is Aitch the rapper, who acts the big man and will say pretty much anything to get laughs.
“He’s young and he’s had a lot of fame early on, and sometimes he just doesn’t think that what he says could be offensive, even when it is problematic.
“On the other hand, there is Harrison, the lovely lad who wooed Amelia Dimoldenberg and cares for his sister with Down’s syndrome.”
Aitch was linked to Chicken Shop Date star Amelia after he appeared on her show in 2023 and even rapped about missing her.
They added: “It’s all fun and games until the two personas get mixed up and someone gets hurt.

“He clearly showed ITV bosses Harrison and, like most people, they fell in love with him.”
So much so that Aitch is the highest paid star in the jungle, with a £250k fee – more than even Ruby Wax and Martin Kemp.
That, however, will surely be cold comfort to Lola Thompson, the Australian influencer and model whose trust he has been accused of violating.
Bali belly row
During an appearance on the podcast, the 90s Baby Show, back in September, he regaled the audience with a story of waking up next to a girl who had “soiled the sheets” in Bali.
As the hosts laughed, he said: “I was with a girl, and we went to sleep and woke up the next morning… tried to get it cracking.
“I fking promise you all, yeah… she’s fking s**t all over the place …
“She obviously doesn’t know, she obviously farted, thought she got away with murder.”
Though he did not name her, Lola – who dated Aitch around 10 months before they split in 2023 – later outed herself, saying fans would have guessed it was her because it was common knowledge they’d been to Bali together.
I’m not a random girl, I was this guy’s girlfriend.

She said in a furious TikTok video: “I did this in my sleep… it was a little bit in my pants. It didn’t go on the bed. It didn’t go on him.”
Understandably upset, she said Aitch exaggerated the story for laughs and slammed the way he spoke about women.
She said: “He wasn’t being like, ‘Oh, get away from me!’, he was literally hugging me, telling me he loved me.”
Lola also denied that they were about to have sex at the time.
She said: “I’m not having an experience like I did that night, and then wanting to be intimate with my boyfriend the next day.
“That’s just not something I would want to do, especially ‘Bali Belly’ makes you feel like you’re dying, like, I’m not in the mood.”
She added: “I’m not a random girl, I was this guy’s girlfriend.”
The whole debacle left a sour taste in the mouths of many, particularly as it came just three months after a similar controversy.
Appearing on Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast in June of this year, Aitch revealed that he hates it when a woman wakes up earlier than him, ranting: “The whole f**king world has to f**king wake up. The hair dryer’s on. All these f**king TikToks next to my head.”
Asked what he liked in a woman, he said: “I like it when girls genuinely don’t know how sexy they are. I like that.
“Don’t like it when a girl walks in looking like she knows everyone would f**k her in here. That would make me definitely not f**k you… If someone walks in here now, and I could tell she felt like she was the IT girl, I wouldn’t even look at her.”
One upset fan commented: “So if a woman has confidence, he doesn’t like it, he’d rather someone with low self-esteem.”

Aitch has already grown close to Shona in the jungle
Another remarked: “God forbid a woman has her own schedule. If he ever gets married, he’s in for a rude awakening.”
While a third added: “He sounds insecure, like he doesn’t want a confident woman.”
And a fourht said: “He really violated Lola by telling that story. Why would any decent man disclose this information. Not mature or funny in the slightest. You were in a relationship, show some damn respect.”
Aitch is currently single after splitting from psychology student Lois Cottam parted before he flew to Australia earlier this month.
The Sun told how things ended after a year of dating – and it seems he already had his eye on someone else.
Over the weekend sparked talk of a romance with former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, 34, while chatting to YouTuber pal Angry Ginge.
Sending viewers crazy, Aitch told him: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

‘I’m not always an angel’
The rapper also sparked upset with his track Landslide two years ago, when he rapped: “Shorty said she on her period, I might put it all in her backside,” and “she s****d me off and then filmed it, b***h done it all for the clout.”
He defended himself at the time, saying: “Sorry for my language… but I’m a rapper at the end of the day. Everyone ease up a bit – I’m not always an angel.”
On his record UFO, he references a violent sex act, rapping: “Got her s******n’ when I choke her, she a baddie.”
In Taste, he uses a derogratry word to describe women, saying: “This his b**ch but mine for the day.”
Rap stars have long been accused of misogyny and sexualising women with lyrics and videos. Research has show that misogynistic lyrics can contribute to cultural tolerance of sexual assault.
His apparently misgonistic attitude towards women came as a surprise to many, considering this was the star who was praised back in 2021 when he featured curvy women on the artwork for his album, Learning Curve.
At the time, he was applauded for speaking out in defence of larger ladies, saying: “All the negative stuff was mad to see; obviously, rappers get hate all the time, but it was a lot.
“It was also s*** to see men hating on girls that much, it’s hard to witness.
“If you’re going to comment and say that this tune is s***, then that’s fine, say no more, you can do.
“But why are you going to comment about a girl?”
There’s no doubt that despite his missteps, Aitch’s relationship with his two sisters – twins Hattie and Gracie, 16, who has Down Syndrome – is nothing short of heart-warming.
Before entering I’m A Celeb, he revealed that he wanted to use his time in the jungle to raise awareness of the genetic condition.

In an emotional chat, he told us: “I’m not just doing it for people with Down syndrome, I’m doing it for people around them as well.
“I don’t want anyone to be disheartened if they do find out someone in the family has Down syndrome.
“It’s a blessing. You’re going to have the best time of your life as long as you’re spending it with that person.”
Our insider said: “Aitch is an amazing brother and really family-oriented. He would argue that his relationship with his sister clearly shows he’s not misogynistic.
“But it has made people wonder if the way he is on I’m A Celeb is all a bit of an act. He is, of course, showing his very best side, but it’s pretty different to what his fans are used to seeing most of the time.”
So far, he’s won the public over and received a wave of support from the bookies after footage aired of him getting emotional over a picture of his sisters.
As debate rages over whether or not we’re seeing the real Aitch or not, one thing’s for sure – he’s certainly bringing plenty of entertainment.
AITCH IS A WINNER – ELLIE HENMAN OPINION
By ELLIE HENMAN, Bizarre Editor
IF YOU didn’t know Aitch before his stint in I’m A Celebrity, I can tell you he’s one of the nicest blokes in the music business.
Everything you’re seeing on TV is just how Aitch is in real life.
He’s hilariously funny, very dry and so down-to-earth, I don’t think anything about taking part in the show will phase him – apart from maybe that crocodile in the first Bushtucker Trial of the series.
There’s a reason artists like ED SHEERAN, AJ TRACEY and GIGGS have all flocked to work with Aitch.
He’s a seriously talented musician who has kept himself grounded despite the spoils of fame and fortune.
I’ve known Aitch for a couple of years now, not only through his music but through his tirelessly campaigning on behalf of the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA).
Aitch’s younger sister Gracie was born with the condition and Aitch has made it his mission to help people understand it.
He wants everyone to know that there is nothing negative to be associated with Down’s syndrome and is vocal in his support for children born with the condition to have the same opportunities as everyone else.
When Aitch has spoken to me about Gracie, his face lights up and it’s clear to me that she is the apple of his eye – even if she has just been twisting his arm to take her down to their nearest Greggs for a treat.
He has tirelessly pushed himself to his limits to raise money for the DSA, with Gracie helping him choose his challenges – the most recent of which saw him climbing Mount Kilimanjaro earlier this year.
I spoke to Aitch ahead of the challenge and once he was back down at sea level, he revealed the expedition had pushed him to the edge, both physically and mentally.
The pain Aitch, his dad and the rest of their team went through though was, he told me, all worth it – because it got people paying attention to the cause.
When people think of rappers, I find they almost always have a preconditioned notion about what they are like.
I’ve seen ridiculous statements bandied around by idiots on social media who are making assumptions without ever actually meeting Aitch.
Take it from me, I’ve met some proper a***holes in my time – and I know who the bad apples in this industry are.
Aitch most certainly isn’t one of them.
And if he isn’t crowned King of Jungle by the time I’m A Celebrity ends, I will be shocked.
