Lily Collins is “definitely not done” with ‘Emily in Paris’.
The 35-year-old actress has played Emily Cooper on the hit Netflix show since 2020, and although it hasn’t yet been renewed for a fifth season, Collins remains totally committed to the project.
“Honestly, I love playing Emily so much, and I so enjoy breathing fresh life into her each season, and she’s taught me so much just in my life,” the brunette beauty told The Hollywood Reporter.
“I’ve had such life experiences because of this opportunity.”
Collins says loves working with the show’s cast and crew, and would jump at the chance to reprise her role for a fifth season.
“I love our cast and crew. I’m definitely not done playing Emily,” she said.
“So I’m here, and I’m along for the ride, and at least for now, anxiously awaiting to see if we get to do more.”
Collins also serves as a producer on the show, and the actress admits it can be tough to balance her two roles.
“It can get hard, because I’m someone who notices all things all the time,” she said.
“Sometimes, as I’m playing Emily, I’m in a scene, as a producer, and will I’ll note ten things, but my brain is already focusing on Emily, but I can’t help but notice things. That’s where my slight Type A takes over.
“But I do have to find that balance, and I think from season one to now, I’ve definitely learned more about that balance and when to kind of wear all the hats – when to take one off, when to focus on one thing.”
