HRVY had been dating ex-Emmerdale actress Mimi Slinger, who played Leanna Cavanagh in the ITV soap.
Taking to TikTok, he has now seemingly confirmed their split in a new video.
The short clip shows HRVY appearing to be deep in thought, as he nods and gives a thumbs up to the camera.
He captioned it: “I’m now single… I blame that Vogue article.”
The Vogue article in question, titled Is Having A Boyfriend Embarrassing Now?, was published at the end of last month and highlighted changes in “the way people showcase their relationships online”.
The couple got together after HRVY – real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell – was left mesmerised by Mimi at the National Television Awards.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, previously the star said: “We get to see each other all the time.
“It’s a nice balance and because we’re both in the industry we both understand, so it’s easy.”
He added: “She sings as well.
“We sing at home, but I don’t think we’d ever release anything together.
“She loves to sing so we definitely do annoy everyone in the house.”
HRVY released his first single, titled Thank You, in 2013 and has supported acts including Little Mix, The Wanted and Conor Maynard.
In February 2024, the singer released 25, which was his first song as an independent artist.
During his time on Strictly, HRVY danced with Janette Manrara in her final series as a pro.
They finished as joint runners-up with Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer as well as Maisie Smith and Gorka Márquez.
What causes the Strictly ‘curse’?
Relationship counsellor Georgina Sturmer says the very nature of Strictly is the reason why it is the death knell of so many love affairs.
“It isn’t necessarily the case that relationships break down due to Strictly, rather that it highlights when things are not quite right,” says Georgina.
“The demanding nature of competing in the show can put strain on existing problems.
“For example, the long days of training and being away from home mean their partner could feel resentful, frustrated and even jealous, especially when they see their other half having the time of their life on screen while they look after the kids and keep the show on the road.
“The physical nature of their interaction with their ‘co-worker’ will be unlike any other job they have done too. How often are you pressed up against another person for ten hours a day? It’s a very intimate experience, even if nothing romantic occurs.
“Contestants often experience physical changes during the show – stronger, slimmer bodies, a more glamorous look – as well as revealing a new side of themselves. This isn’t always positive for their existing relationship.
“Aside from the ‘curse’, you also see plenty of contestants and dancers who are unattached become couples. I think the show almost gives people ‘permission’ to find love or have an affair, because the public almost ‘want’ and ‘expect’ it.”
Comedian and actor Bill Bailey won the series alongside his pro partner Oti Mabuse.
Meanwhile, HRVY previously told The Sun about navigating newfound attention after starring in Strictly.
He said in an exclusive chat: “I get recognised now.
“I have quite a few nans and older people come up and say, ‘We watched you on the show, you did really well’, that’s really nice.”
