Kim Kardashian has discovered the bizarre link she has to Bridgerton’s Featherington family.
Just like millions of people who have been waiting for the new series with baited breath, Kim Kardashian is among those who are obsessed with Bridgerton.
And what’s even cooler for her, is that she has a link with the Featherington family, which she had no idea about!
Nicola Coughlan, who stars in Bridgerton as Penelope Featherington revealed on X (formerly Twitter), that the Kardashians were actually a ‘huge inspiration’ for the Featherington’s…who would have known?!
She posted: “As the world’s number one @bridgerton Stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings?
“Because I feel like she should know this.”
The post soon landed in Kim’s dedicated Bridgerton group chat and she immediately took to X to respond.
Kim replied: “What?!?!
“I am freaking out!!!!!!
“This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat!”
People rushed to the comments, with one saying: “I love this for you!
“You’re the biggest stan.”
Another said: “This is my favourite thing on the internet this week.”
If Kim gets her way she may even end up visiting the Bridgerton set and meeting the Featherington sisters in real life.
She added: “Can I please come to a fitting?!?!
“It would make my whole life!!!!!!
“I love you Lady W!!!”
We would love to see this happen.
The Derry Girls star responded to Kim, saying: “Omg yesss of course we would love to have you!
“Also did you know that Mr Pearl made your corset for the Met Gala and the very next one he made was mine for Bridgerton?
“You’ve been part of the Bridgerton world for longer than you know!”
Even the official Netflix X account chipped in, adding: “Kim Featherington does have a nice ring to it – I’ll see what I can do!”
But fans didn’t get their Kim K cameo in season three part one, and we haven’t heard rumours of a cameo any time soon.
Bridgerton recently launched the latest season of their hit show on Netflix on May 16, and confirmed that season four is planned to be filmed.
Four of the episodes as part of season three have been released, and fans are going wild for part two, which is due to be released a month after part one on June 13.
