The trolls got under Jake’s skin

With tension brewing for the July 20th heavyweight showdown between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, Netflix released a promo that pulled back the curtain on how fans really feel about the two boxers, causing Jake Paul to crack under the pressure.
If Tyson has one clear advantage against the YouTube star, it is in the court of public opinion. He won many admirers over his illustrious career with his exceptional power and larger than life personality. Paul has always been a divisive figure on social media, and has much less support in the sporting realm.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson react to social media comments
The two challengers were both tasked with reacting to positive and negative comments extracted from social media, but one personal dig in particular left Paul stewing.
“Imma back Mike in this fight just to see Jake cry like the little b*tch he is,” read the final comment presented to Paul in the video.
When he read it, the 27-year-old cursed under his breath and threw away the phone where the comments were being presented. Tyson also had to react to some savage comments, but he played them off much more humorously.
Social media’s preference in the Paul vs Tyson fight is so one-sided that some fans couldn’t believe they had enough content to film the video.
“The way I’m trying to find a comment supporting Jake Paul and I can’t,” joked one comment on Instagram, while another accused Netflix of faking the positive comments about him just for the video.
