The Mexican Monster assured that he can get the $200 million purse that Canelo demands to accept the challenge

David Benavidez does not want to give up in his bid for ‘Canelo’ Alvarez to accept his challenge, which would give him a chance to fight for his undisputed super middleweight title, at least for the rest of this year.
He reiterated that he is ready to, when that time comes, dethrone the fighter from Guadalajara, Mexico.
In an interview with PPV.com, ‘Red Flag’ assured that he is 100% confident in his abilities, but also in his strategy to face one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, who is coming off a resounding victory over Jaime Munguía.
“I’m very excited. Whenever that fight happens, I know I have the perfect plan to get the win,” said the ‘Mexican Monster’.
Benavidez already has fight strategy to face Canelo
In fact, Benavidez is so confident that he can get the challenge against Canelo, that he even revealed some strategies that are part of his fight plan to knock out Alvarez Barragan and explained that it derives from a detailed analysis of his opponent’s skills, over the years.
He added: “I’ve seen things that have been very effective against Canelo, like throwing punches, using the jab, being the bigger fighter physically and using the ring. Those are things I’ve seen that have exposed Canelo, so it’s something I can implement in the fight,” explained a confident ‘Red Flag’.
Despite Canelo’s constant refusals, Benavidez insists he feels confident that he will eventually get the opportunity he so desires and says he is focused on finding a promoter who can secure the $200 million purse Canelo set as a condition for accepting the challenge.
