I’m A Celebrity kicked off its brand new series but it didn’t take long for the complaints to come pouring in.
I’m A Celeb: Danny Jones is crowned King of the Jungle
I’m A Celebrity has made a huge change to the show for the first time in 17 years and fans are unimpressed.
The beloved ITV programme kicked off its brand new series on Sunday evening (November 16).
Geordie duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were back at the helm, to check in on the latest batch of famous faces in the Aussie jungle.
For this year’s series, celebs like comedian Ruby Wax, rapper Aitch, presenter Alex Scott and content creator Angryginge have signed up to rough it up for a few weeks.
Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley, singer Martin Kemp, Loose Women star Kelly Brook and EastEnders icon Shona McGarty have also joined them, in a bid to be crowned the King or Queen of the Jungle.

However, just minutes into the new series airing fans were left livid by a big change as the show switched up its opening credits for the first time since 2008.
Reacting to the new I’m A Celebrity intro viewers were not impressed. Fuming, one person on X, said: “WHY HAVE THEY CHANGED THE INTRO!?” A second added: “Change the GODDAMN TITLES BACK.”
A third penned: “I don’t like change, what’s with the new intro.” Echoing their thoughts, someone else wrote: “The new intro credits are a big downgrade! Dont fix it if it aint broke?” A fifth wrote: “Why change the intro.” Another declared: “Editors, sort out this dross and bring the classic titles back for tomorrow or there will be an issue.”

This 2025 series of I’m a Celebrity will be a little different from past years. This year, contestants will no longer be able to do more than two Bushtucker trials in a row.
It gives the opportunity for more celebrities to have a go at the trials. Last year’s series saw Dean McCullough voted to do seven Bushtucker Trials, two of which he ended early.
Ant expressed his frustration at the time, as Dean was repeatedly being put up for trial. The TV presenter said: “Who’s still voting for Dean, I don’t get it.”
This year, viewers will be unable to vote for that person for a third consecutive day, but then the system will be “reset” allowing that person to be voted for again.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs everyday at 9pm on ITV1.
