Rapper Rick Ross Drops $20 Million On Renovations For $35 Million Miami Mansion

In 2023, rapper and producer Rick Ross purchased a $35 million mansion on the exclusive Star Island in Miami.

Star Island is home to many other notable names, including Sean “Diddy” Combs, fellow rapper and neighbor to Ross. The property boasts a size of nearly one acre. The mansion itself is 12,400 square feet.

Ross now has plans to spend another $20 million for renovations. An additional 4,000 square will be added to the property. After renovations, Ross’ home might outshine those of billionaires Jeff Bezos and Ken Griffin also living in Miami.

Ross told The New York Post, “We are excited to be expanding the home towards the ocean and we are planning a Japanese rare Koi fish pond, the walls with maybe a Basquiat painting.”

Ross will be getting the help of a celebrity and billionaire homebuilder to make the renovations happen. Other features that will be added to the house include a recording studio and a waterfront pool. Ross’ house originally included six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a half bathroom.

Extravagant renovations are becoming the norm in the entertainment industry.

Last year, Adele purchased Sylvester Stallone’s home for $58 million – and then demolished it to build one of her own design.
