Eminem is helping his daughter Hailie Jade Scott celebrate a special milestone.

The 52-year-old rapper made a surprise appearance at Jelly Roll’s concert at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday, May 18. He thrilled the crowd by strolling out onto the stage as the country star, 40, was in the midst of performing a cover of his 2002 hit “Lose Yourself.” Eminem jumped right into the action, picking up the second verse.

After the energetic duet, Eminem took a moment to thank the crowd — and give Scott, 29, and her husband, Evan McClintock, a sweet shout-out in honor of their first wedding anniversary that day. In a clip shared on YouTube, he can be heard saying, “Long time, no see, Detroit. One more time, make some noise for Jelly Roll, y’all. Hailie and Evan, happy anniversary, I love y’all.”

“I’m out of here. Detroit, I love you. Peace,” he added before exiting the stage to lots of clapping and cheering.

Scott, who tied the knot with McClintock last year, marked the couple’s wedding anniversary with a post on her Instagram. Alongside a series of wedding photos, she wrote to her husband: “One year ago today I made the easiest decision I’ve ever made – becoming your wife🤍 cheers to this last year and choosing each other for the rest of our lives 🥂 happy anniversary @evanmcclintock11.”

McClintock replied in the comments, “Happy anniversary beautiful ❤️. I love you so much @hailiejade.”

The couple’s wedding venue — Greencrest Manor in Battle Creek, Michigan, also sent anniversary wishes, writing, “Happy 1st anniversary and cheers to so many more. 🥂 🤍.”

Scott and McClintock’s anniversary comes just two months after they welcomed their first baby together, a son named Elliot Marshall, on March 14. The little one’s middle name is a nod to Scott’s father, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

Eminem was a proud dad at Scott’s wedding last year. The two shared a particularly special moment during the festivities when the 8 Mile star joined the bride on the dance floor for a traditional father-daughter dance. A photo showed Scott smiling in her white strapless gown as she held hands with her dad, who sported a classic black tuxedo, sneakers and a pair of sunglasses (perhaps to hide some father-of-the-bride tears).

In an Instagram post announcing her nuptials at the time, Scott reflected on her big day, writing that she and McClintock “couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration.”

“So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt,” she added. “Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife 🤍.”

When it came time for Scott to reveal her pregnancy months later, she gave her Grammy-winning dad the big honors. In October, he released a music video for his song “Temporary,” featuring nostalgic home videos of Scott from her childhood. Toward the end of the video, Eminem included a clip of the moment when his daughter shared the news that she was expecting her first baby — and his first grandchild.

The influencer can be seen handing her father a football jersey branded with the word “Grandpa” and the number 1, along with a sonogram image, as he reacted with visible emotion.
