He started from relatively humble beginnings in Detroit to become one of the best-selling and legendary rappers of all time. Eminem has built his empire on raw talent and a heavy dollop of determination. While fans of the Rap God might know all his chart-topping albums and iconic lyrics, they might not know about his cool car collection. Come along with us and lose yourself (yeah, we know what we did 😉 )in the Eminem car collection.

Rapper, songwriter, and record producer Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known as Eminem, is a cultural phenomenon. Eminem’s meteoric rise to fame has made him one of the most popular musicians ever. The rapper’s current wealth is estimated to be $230 million.

If you were ever bullied as a child, take heart: Eminem is a role model for you. To help himself and others, he began to channel his feelings of hopelessness into the narratives that would later become his songs. To say that there are plenty of fans of his music would be an understatement. Fans also stan Eminem’s impressive car collection. Here are some of our favorites.

The best of Eminem’s cars

What you’ll read about

Porsche Carrera GT

In the song “If I Had” from the Slim Shady EP, a younger version of the rapper vents his frustrations with the world. Tired of having to borrow a dollar for gas to start my Monte Carlo, he complains at one point. The success of Eminem’s career has ensured that he will never have to worry about money for gas or the Chevy Monte Carlo again if he doesn’t want to. The rapper can now afford high-performance vehicles such as the Porsche Carrera GT.

Eminem has a lot of incredible sports cars, and this one is no exception. You’ll notice a trend emerging: the rapper appears to have developed a penchant for high-speed sports cars as a replacement for the slower vehicles he once used. Among the best sports cars ever, the Porsche Carrera GT has won several awards (at least by 2003 standards). Production lasted only around four years, and in total, only roughly 1,270 cars were made. This makes it a rare and expensive car that the general public rarely gets to enjoy.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

This car is designed to go fast, and it does just that. A man who can rap at breakneck speeds without sacrificing rhyme and lyrics, and the V8 Vantage is a match made in heaven. Even though it can go incredibly fast, it looks more like a luxury automobile than a racecar. Some have compared the latest generation of this car to the Porsche 911, another high-performance sports car (another vehicle Eminem happens to have in his collection).

James Bond has helped boost sales of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. It’s a gorgeous sports automobile that costs around $150,000. This 2005 car is by Henrik Fisker. The next year, in 2006, Eminem added this beast to his collection. It boasts a twin-turbo V8 engine and can accelerate from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in 4.9 seconds.

Audi R8 Spyder

Is there even a celebrity car collection that doesn’t include an Audi? Because he is Eminem, of course, the model he wants is the Audi R8 Spyder, which is widely considered to be among the best sports cars ever made.

The rapper also has an unusual history with Audi; in 2011, he sued Audi for using “Lose Yourself” without his permission (and brazenly ripping off Ford’s already successful commercial).

The Spyder is an excellent vehicle for those who value speed above all else. It’s right up there with the rest of Eminem’s exotic vehicles. Audi designed the cabin of their car to resemble a race car in both appearance and performance, while still providing more comfort and convenience than a typical racing vehicle.

The Audi R8 has comfortable seating with various configurations in its cabin. One variant features striking crimson leather upholstery. Priced at over $200,000, the cost is justified by the time and effort put into its creation. The R8’s steering wheel is a standout design highlight.

Ferrari 599 GTO

Ferrari’s 599 GTO is more than just a stunning sports car. High-performance automobiles built for the track frequently have a busy, cluttered appearance that belies their performance. The 599 GTO exemplifies creating a fast automobile that also looks amazing. The Audi R8’s outside is impressive, but the cabin is where the real fun begins.

It includes beautiful leather chairs that can be arranged in whatever configuration you like. The interior of the Ferrari 599 GTO is likewise far larger than one would anticipate from a vehicle of such sporting intent. There is sufficient room to accommodate the necessary level of convenience and style (like a push start button on the steering wheel).

Though it was only manufactured for a short time, this Ferrari is another classic that will live on in the minds of automotive enthusiasts forever. The car’s name includes the number 599 to indicate that only 599 were made, of which little more than 100 were exported to North America.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0

Eminem appears to have a particular fondness for Porsche cars. He’s got a bunch of Ferraris and Porsches in his collection – four of each! These definitely dominate the Eminem car collection. The rapper references this vehicle in the song “Love Me,” singing, “911 Porsche same color as cranberry sauce.”

Porsche is a legendary racing brand with multiple victories across multiple disciplines. Just like the other cars in Eminem’s collection, this one plays a genuine part in the history of auto racing. The Porsche 911 GT3 is another exceptional car manufactured by the German automaker, Porsche. The GT2 is undoubtedly the fastest of the two, but the GT3 is a worthy substitute.

The GT3 is a car mostly inspired by high-performance automobiles, just like Eminem’s Audi R8. Both were made with racing in mind. Their engineers’ primary goal while creating them seems to have been a vehicle capable of competing favorably in high-stakes races, so any additional features are icing on the cake. With his lightning-quick rapping style, Eminem is the perfect owner for the GT3.

Lamborghini Aventador

A terrific addition to Eminem’s collection, the Lamborghini Aventador is a perfect example of why he loves sports cars so much. It’s no surprise that Eminem likes the Aventador because it’s a strong vehicle designed for racing and luxury. The Lamborghini Aventador seems to be the Holy Grail for rappers since it frequently appears in hip-hop music videos and has even been spotted in the car collections of A-listers like Drake and Kanye West.

It has a base value of roughly $400,000 but may go up to $700,000 with add-ons and customizations. The Aventador has a top speed of 350 kilometers per hour and can reach 100 kilometers per hour in just a few seconds, making it potentially one of the fastest vehicles in Eminem’s collection.

Among its contemporaries, the Porsche 918, the Tesla Model S, the Bugatti Chiron, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, and of course, another product from Lamborghini, the famed Huracan, the Aventador is one of the world’s fastest cars (in terms of sheer acceleration capabilities).

McLaren MP4-12C

A McLaren is the ultimate symbol of prosperity and a great way to show it off to the world. The rapper already has a foot in the door of racing culture, so McLaren is a no-brainer for Eminem’s car collection. Among rappers, McLaren is almost universally regarded as the best car brand. And celebs seem to love it (Tyler the Creator has one in his collection).

This should come as no great shock, as McLaren has an extremely high reputation to uphold. With its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the MP4-12C does not fall short in any way.

The MP4-12C is a worthy addition to any collector’s garage because the illustrious watchmaker Tag Heuer has created an incredibly limited-edition wristwatch in tribute to this vehicle. Compared to the number of MP4-12C cars manufactured, the quantity of timepieces produced (1,000) pales in comparison.

Ford GT

Both Eminem and Ford have admitted that their relationship is a little difficult. In 2005, Eminem made a significant investment in a Ford GT. For the 100th anniversary of the firm, a special edition of this model was produced. It has a V8 engine that can reach up to 205 mph speeds. The Ford GT, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds, is Eminem’s fastest sports car.

In 2005, the rapper and Ford came to an agreement under which the rapper would use a Ford Fusion in a music video. The carmaker rescinded its offer after the rapper mocked Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears in the song’s video. Years later, Eminem and Ford would put their differences aside to sell the Ford Chrysler 200 in a Super Bowl ad that prominently used Eminem’s popular song “Lose Yourself.”

In his car collection, though, Eminem also has a Ford GT. Clearly, this is yet another car that complements his fleet admirably. It looks like a race vehicle and can go as fast as one. The Ford GT can reach 100 km/h in more than three seconds, so it’s on par with the sports vehicles owned by Eminem.

Ferrari 575

Since Eminem owns four Ferraris, including this one, we can assume he is a big fan of Italian engineering. Though it was only around four years, Ferrari’s 575 is another superb ride. The car is somewhat rare, though. Just over 2000 were made, and even rarer: only 177 were with manual transmission. You won’t often have the chance to admire such a rare car.

The 575 looks like a classic sports car, with its pointy hood and low profile. Even more impressive is the Ferrari 575’s 5.7-liter 12-cylinder engine. It takes less than four seconds to reach 100 km/h, making it slightly slower than Eminem’s Aston Martin. But a Ferrari is a safe pick; unless you’re a professional racer, the speed gap between the two sports cars might not be all that evident.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS

It’s hard to see anyone saying no to yet another Porsche. The GT3 was so impressive to Eminem that he decided to upgrade to the GT2, the fastest version of the Porsche 911. Even if it costs over $330,000 (more than any other 911 Porsche offers), what’s another Porsche when you’re one of the most popular rap stars of all time?

MrWalkr, CC BY-SA 4.0, via Wikimedia Commons

The GT2 is described as “the most powerful 911 ever developed by Porsche — with the performance level of a super sports car” on Porsche’s official website. They went on to describe the vehicle as “a pure athlete.” Porsche paid careful attention to the car’s ability to negotiate fast curves, ensuring the safety of drivers who are not skilled racers, which is just as impressive as the car’s obvious strengths, such as its speed. Of course, cutting-edge gadgetry is standard in this vehicle.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Working closely with German driver Michael Schumacher, Ferrari took great delight in creating yet another outstanding high-performance beast of a car. When developing the 430 Scuderia, Ferrari says that Michael Schumacher spent a great deal of time testing it, painstakingly using the method that made him distinctive on the racetrack for many years.

The result was a race car built specifically for the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. It has been very successful, and the car itself has served as a template for other vehicles. The rap community has shown its love for Ferrari, but Eminem may be one of the few rappers with a 430 Scuderia. Most rappers choose other Ferrari models, such as the 575 (another one of Eminem’s cars). Whatever the case, Ferrari is a dependable brand known for consistently excellent products.

Porsche 911 Turbo

This is the fourth Porsche we’ve seen on this list of Eminem’s cars. So the brand may be his favorite. The main difference between the 911 Turbo and the other cars we’ve looked at so far that Eminem owns—the 911 GT2 RS, the GT3 RS 4.0, and the Porsche Carrera GT—is that the 911 Turbo is often thought to be one of the best cars Porsche has ever made.

Matti Blume, CC BY-SA 4.0, via Wikimedia Commons

At first, it might be hard to tell the difference between the different Porsche 911 models. It’s important to remember that they’re all good cars, but the differences come down to the horsepower, weight, and how well each model is suited for racing (and, of course, that reflects on the price range for each vehicle).

There are even differences between models of the 911 Turbo. For example, the Turbo can reach 198 mph, while the Turbo S can reach 205 mph. Models of the Porsche 911 Turbo can cost anywhere from $160,000 to $200,000 or more.
