Back in 2019, Billie Eilish was trending on social media after revealing she was terrified of popular rapper Eminem – and he had the best response.
The clip is from an interview with Noisey, where she was asked to choose between Eminem and Childish Gambino.
She responded: ‘I was scared of Eminem my whole life. Always, I was terrified. That dude freaked the f*** out of me. Oh my god.’
After seeing the clip, Eminem responded in the best way – he showed Billie Eilish that he had seen the viral interview through one of his own songs.

In the deluxe version of his 2020 album, ‘Music to be Murdered by’, the track ‘Alfred’s Song’ includes a line about how scary Billie found him.
Thy lyric is: ‘Homicidal visions when I’m spitting like this. But really I’m just fulfilling my wish of killing rhymes which is really childish. And silly, but I’m really like this, I’m giving nightmares to Billie Eilish.’
Whether or not she’s still afraid of the rapper is unknown, but Billie did make sure to join in with the standing ovation he received at the 2020 Oscars.
Fans of both artists found the whole situation hilarious, flocking to social media to make jokes and share comments.
One tweet, reads: ‘Billie Eilish saying she’s always been afraid of Eminem kinda offends me, girl wasn’t even BORN when slim peaked, what’s she scared of?’
Another fan commented ‘All her music videos are creepy as hell and Eminem’s the one giving her nightmares ??!!!’
