In addition to debuting new ensembles, Meghan slipped on something special that previously belonged to Princess Diana

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex began their trip in Bogotá on Aug. 15, kicking off their trip in the Colombian capital with an official welcome from the vice president.

Meghan wore a navy Veronica Beard vest and trousers suit set with black Manolo Blahnik heels and carried a white Loro Piana handbag.

The top’s high neckline is one of Meghan’s style signatures, and she also sported some of her go-to jewelry: her gold Cartier tank watch and Love bracelet.

After a welcome with Vice President Francia Márquez and a stop at a local charter school, Prince Harry and Meghan changed outfits for a visit to the National Centre for the Arts.

The Duchess of Sussex wore the metallic red, pink and gold Navajo Weaver dress by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz with strappy brown Jimmy Choo mules. She let her hair down out of the bun she had earlier but kept her Cartier watch and bracelet on.

Ortiz’s bio states she is inspired by “the beauty and lushness of her native country. The tropical jungles, evergreen mountain ranges and myriad palm trees danced in her dreams where her creativity was awoken. In an urgent need to express the richness of her view, she decided to use fashion as the canvas for her vision.”

Even before their Colombia visit, Meghan was a fan of the designer. She previously sported multiple outfits by Ortiz during her visit to Nigeria in May and also wore a strapless gold dress from the designer in 2023 when she accepted an award at the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards: Celebrating Generations of Progress & Power in New York City.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex switched looks again for an outing at EAN University, where they participated in a summit on a responsible digital future organized in part by their charitable Archewell Foundation.

Meghan wore a brown button-down shirt by Victoria Beckham with silky pants by La Ligne and strappy caramel Aquazurra heels, pulling her hair back in a ponytail and adding her gold Cartier necklace plus dangling earrings.

Meghan and Prince Harry continued their tour on Aug. 16 with a visit to Colegio La Giralda school in Santa Fe. The Duchess of Sussex recycled her previously worn Loro Piana “Jamilla” linen blazer over a white shirt. She swept her hair back in a side-parted bun, allowing a very special accessory — Princess Diana’s butterfly earrings — to shine.

Meghan has previously worn the earrings that belonged to her late mother-in-law, debuting them during her 2018 tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga with Prince Harry just after announcing her pregnancy with Prince Archie.
