Strange Premonition of a Passenger Before the Plane Crash in India
Before the Air India Express plane crashed at Wayanad airport in Kerala, India, a passenger named Deepak reportedly had a strange premonition and refused to board the flight.
According to Times of India, Deepak, a 35-year-old car driver, was supposed to board the Air India Express flight from Dubai (UAE) to Wayanad, India, on August 9. However, he suddenly felt uneasy and decided not to board the plane.
Deepak shared with Times of India that he had a recurring dream about a plane crash days before the flight. In the dream, he saw a plane plummeting to the ground and bursting into flames. This haunting image caused him significant anxiety, leading him to cancel his trip at the last minute.
“I don’t know why, but I just felt something bad was going to happen. The dream felt so real, and I couldn’t shake the feeling of unease,” Deepak recounted.
His decision proved to be fateful. On August 9, the Air India Express Boeing 737, carrying 190 passengers and crew, crash-landed at Wayanad airport. The plane skidded off the runway, broke apart, and plunged into a valley, killing 21 people, including both pilots. The accident occurred in heavy rain, which likely contributed to the tragedy.
Deepak said he was shocked when he heard the news of the crash, as it closely resembled the scene from his dream. “I felt like I had escaped death,” he said, expressing gratitude for trusting his instincts.
This is not the first time someone has claimed to have a premonition before a disaster. In the past, there have been similar stories of people avoiding tragedy due to an inexplicable sense of foreboding. While some attribute these incidents to coincidence, others believe they could be a form of sixth sense or intuition.
The Air India Express crash is one of the deadliest aviation accidents in India in recent years. Authorities are still investigating the cause, with initial findings pointing to adverse weather conditions and potential issues with the runway.
