The Real Housewives of New York City cast member revealed what makes her “happy” about Luke Newton.
Dear reader, is the newest match in the Ton (or the Big Apple, in this case) between The Real Housewives of New York City‘s Brynn Whitfield and Bridgerton Season 3 lead Luke Newton?
Per a recent Instagram blind item, an anonymous source claimed to have seen the actor “kiss [Brynn’s] neck mid-dinner” during a recent event. After the rumors made waves online, the RHONY cast member addressed the speculation in an Instagram comment.
Brynn confirmed that there was no neck kiss at the event, and that Luke was “a gentleman” to her when they sat side-by-side at the dinner.
“Flattered but definitely not true,” she wrote in a comment under a post shared by @BravoBreakingNews. “Very much a gentleman and I’m very happy to call everyone from the dinner a new and dear friend.”
Who is Brynn Whitfield dating?
Since she joined the RHONY cast on Season 14, Brynn’s dating life has been the subject of speculation. Brynn, however, hasn’t publicly shared that she is in a relationship, so it looks like the apple-holder is single.
Brynn did introduce RHONY viewers to her ex-fiancé Gideon Land-Laddie though. Gideon was Brynn’s third fiancé, and while the two weren’t able to make their romantic relationship work, they remain close friends.
Brynn also expressed an interest in Southern Charm-er Shep Rose during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in July 2023. “I have a little secret,” Brynn said on the late night talk series. “I think Shep’s cute. It takes one commitment-phobe to know another commitment-phobe, right?”
After Brynn’s initial comments, Shep expressed an interest in getting to know the Indiana native. The two exchanged a few Instagram DMs, and then they agreed to meet during BravoCon 2023 in November.
However, the pair was not meant to be, as Brynn later said that she was “not feeling the South Carolina native” at the Las Vegas event.
During an episode of Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast in May 2024, Brynn admitted that, after Shep, there isn’t another Bravolebrity she has her eyes on.
“I don’t know if I would actually date a reality TV person,” she said, noting that she tends to date guys who would be “way too busy” to want to film.
