I think we can be frank about the fact that it’s either Benedict, Eloise, or Francesca. All three of them have a lot of growth still ahead of them, and that’s very intentional.

Traditionally, the series has followed the sequencing of Julia Quinn’s novels, each dedicated to a different Bridgerton sibling’s quest for love in an opulent Regency England. However, deviations have occurred, most notably in the third season which featured Colin, leapfrogging over Benedict who was originally slated next in the literary series.
