Breaking news: Prince Harry has OFFICIALLY RETURNED to England, King Charles is reportedly considering gifting Prince Andrew’s former home to Harry and announcing his new title

King Charles Reportedly Considering Offering Prince Andrew’s Former Home to Prince Harry

Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle may have an opportunity to be closer to the royal family.

According to a Sunday, March 1, post on journalist Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, King Charles III is thinking about offering Royal Lodge to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, now that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson have officially moved out.

“This would be the ultimate olive branch,” a royal insider told Shuter. “Charles wants unity. Offering Harry a significant Windsor property would send a powerful message that the door is still open.”

While Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, have not publicly expressed an interest in leaving their permanent home in California, the 77-year-old king — who was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024 — is thinking about “keeping family close — geographically and emotionally,” a source said.

The 30-room mansion is vacant now that the former Prince Andrew, 66, was relocated to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk amid renewed scrutiny in his ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

That said, a source told Shuter, “The optics are tricky. Moving Harry and Meghan into Andrew’s old house ties them to a property that’s become synonymous with scandal. That’s a lot of baggage.”

The former Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles and honors last year, and he and Fergie, 66, were asked to leave their longtime home, where they lived practically rent-free for years.

While Fergie’s exact whereabouts are unknown as she weighs her options for the future, Andrew was recently arrested at Sandringham on February 19.

Though Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained his innocence regarding his ties to Epstein, he was accused of sharing confidential information with the late financier related to his role as a trade envoy.

The Thames Valley Police launched an inquiry into the father of two after it was reported that emails suggest he sent Epstein reports from a tour of Southeast Asia he took in 2010.

Andrew, who was released from custody that same day, could face a maximum sentence of life in prison if he were to be charged and convicted of misconduct in public office.

Following Andrew’s arrest, Charles said via a statement issued from Buckingham Palace that authorities have the royal family’s “full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”
