Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll are celebrating a positive update in their in vitro fertilization (IVF) process.
In a video shared to her Instagram on Monday, June 16, the podcast host, 44, revealed that she had a “huge win” after getting a phone call related to her IVF journey. Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, gets emotional as she receives the call in the short clip.
“When you just got the call you’ve been waiting on for 5 months since this ivf journey started,” she wrote. “All the tears, the hopelessness & the struggle, God finally said, ‘Here.’ 😭.”
In the comments of her post, Bunnie Xo clarified that she isn’t pregnant yet, but has taken a step forward in her journey. “This is not a pregnancy announcement – we won’t announce that,” she said. “This is just a huge win for us 🙏🏻🤍💫✨.”

While this would be Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll’s first baby together, the podcaster is also stepmom to her musician husband’s two kids, Bailee Ann, 16, and Noah Buddy, 7.
Back in March, Bunnie Xo posted a TikTok video and shared another update on her and Jelly Roll’s road to parenthood. The stepmom of two shared at the time that she’s actively undergoing IVF treatments.
“I’m literally going through IVF treatments right now — the hormones, the shots, all that,” she said. “I’m going through all of the emotions, the rollercoaster, [and] the worry, just so that I can have a little piece of my husband and me — just a little piece wrapped in skin— to just add to the other two beautiful children that we have together.”
Bunnie Xo has been very open in the past about her fertility journey, sharing last June that they were beginning the IVF process. Jelly Roll appeared on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast and revealed he decided to lose over 60 pounds so he could live longer to see kids grow, and keep up with any new additions.
“My wife and I are talking about having a baby, and it really made me realize that at almost 40, I was like, it means I got to live to at least 60. I got to see this kid into college,” said Jelly Roll.
Bunnie shared the video of his interview on her Instagram page and revealed that they had decided to undergo IVF. “Papabear dropped a surprise on this pod today,” the podcast host wrote across the clip. “We had planned on doing this privately, but decided our ivf journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open.”
“And w/all odds stacked against us, it’s always been hard & we have only just begun,” Bunnie Xo, added with a watery-eyed emoji.
“God Willing- Baby DeFord 2026 💫 @bussinwtb,” Bunnie’s caption read.
