Brad Pitt’s youthful appearance at 60 has sparked facelift surgery rumors, but his past comments seem to seriously suggest otherwise.

Brad Pitt has always been a hottie, and it seems like even his constantly aging self isn’t downing his handsomeness by any margin. Even at the age of 60, the actor is managing to look as dashing as ever, leaving fans and paparazzi baffled at just how he seems to be aging backward – just like his iconic character Benjamin Button from 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

That said, there had also been speculation that Pitt had perhaps gone under the knife to regain his youth via facelifting or other surgery methods. But while a renowned aesthetics doctor supported these claims with evidential arguments, one of the actor’s recently resurfaced old statements delivered through an inspiring mindset puts a big question mark on these rumors.

Two years ago, when he was nearing the age of 59, Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt was asked to share his perspective on dealing with the pressure of aging in showbiz. To this, the actor seemingly had the coolest and most nonchalant answer, as he emphasized how he simply didn’t “want to be running from aging” and that “it’s a concept we can’t escape.” 

Instead, he put due focus on how he wished the culture embraced this element even more. Sharing his point of view, he explained to Vogue:

What is real is treating your skin in a healthy manner. And it’s something I’ve learned to do for my business, but it kind of makes you feel better. I grew up with a country mentality, kind of, you know, Dial soap once a day and then move on.

That’s not all. Continuing, the Fight Club star further drew attention to how important self-love and self-care are in order to age healthily and beautifully, saying:

I think that we’re learning that if we love ourselves, if we treat ourselves a little better, then there are long-lasting benefits to that. So just age healthy, age in a healthy manner.

Of course, this inspiring mindset is as real as it could be, and seeing it come from someone like Pitt makes it seem like he wouldn’t really be someone to use non-natural methods to make himself seem more youthful. This is why rumors and reports of him having undergone a facelift are now sounding like mere lies.

But while that’s that, there’s something else that’s further fueling the reports about his facial transformation: His recent appearance at the Venice Film Festival with his girlfriend and jewelry designer, Ines de Ramon.

Last year at Wimbledon, Pitt made headlines as he was photographed on the bleachers looking like a younger version of himself. So much so that even fans couldn’t help but point out how he seems to be aging backward like his character Benjamin Button from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This was followed by rumors that he may have undergone plastic surgery for the same.

However, the Daily Mail reports that, back then, a source close to the 60-year-old actor apparently refuted such rumors, shutting down all possibilities of him having had a facelift done. But these reports further took flight recently, when Pitt was pictured with his current girlfriend Ines de Ramon while gracing the red carpet with his dazzlingly youthful profile.

None of these reports, obviously, have been confirmed or denied by Brad Pitt himself as of yet. Thus, even the aesthetician’s claims and evidential proof of the scar on his earlobe proving the actor went under the knife are nothing more than arrows shot in the dark. But, then again, if this isn’t it then there’s only one thing explaining this confounding situation: Pitt has indeed learned the secret trick to aging backward like his fan-favorite Benjamin Button.
