The ongoing 81st Venice International Film Festival has seen the presence of several Hollywood A-listers on the red carpet. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are in the midst of their divorce proceedings, have both been among the attendees at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. However, the event’s team has managed to carefully avoid a Pitt and Jolie encounter as the feud between the former couple continues even after their separation and Brad Pitt walked the red carpet with Ines de Ramon.
Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie never crossed paths at the Venice Film Festival 2024
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie avoided an awkward run-in at the Venice Film Festival as the premieres of their respective films, “Wolfs” and “Maria,” had been scheduled for different days. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the artistic director, Alberto Barbera, shared that Jolie was to attend the festival’s first day on Thursday, August 29. Following the “Maria” premiere, she was scheduled to go to Telluride with the film’s director, Pablo Larraín. Meanwhile, Pitt arrived in Venice on Saturday. “There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido,” Barbera said ahead of the event.
After a decade together, Pitt and Jolie tied the knot in 2014. The marriage lasted only two years when the latter filed for divorce in 2016. The split came following an alleged physical altercation between the two. The incident reportedly occurred on a private plane ride with Pitt and Jolie’s six children present. As the separation continued to unfold, a judge ruled in 2019 that Pitt and Jolie could be legally single. Despite that, their legal battle continued for years as they contended over their children’s custody and finances. As of 2024, the divorce proceedings are still ongoing as they haven’t reached a settlement.
Now, the “Bullet Train” actor has seemingly made his new relationship official. Per the Mirror, Brad Pitt, 60, and Ines de Ramon, 34, walked hand-in-hand on the “Wolfs” red carpet during the 2024 Venice International Film Festival.
