The Duchess of York speaks fondly of her ex-husband in a new interview
Sarah Ferguson has no regrets.
In a new interview alongside older sister Jane Luedecke for The Sunday Times, the Duchess of York spoke glowingly of her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and admitted she “would do it all over again, 100 percent.”
The two married in 1986 and divorced 10 years later. Still, they continue to live together in the Royal Lodge, in the heart of Windsor Great Park, and often attend engagements together with their now-adult daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Recalling the early years of their relationship, Fergie said: “I was totally and utterly in love with Andrew.”
“He’s the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind,” she added. “Our wedding was the best day of my life. But I gave up my anonymity that day. I was able to because love conquers all. It’s still with us today.”

Ferguson has remained by Andrew’s side through it all, and has continued to defend his character after he was accused of sexual assault and linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—and consequently stripped (by mother Queen Elizabeth II) of his military titles and royal patronages.
Recently, the prince was also scrutinized for his association with an alleged Chinese spy.
“I won’t let him down,” Ferguson told The Sunday Times of her ex. “He supports me as much as I support him. He’s supported me through thick and thin, not just marriage or divorce. We agree on the three Cs: communication, compromise, compassion.”
Fergie even compared her current relationship with Andrew to her relationship with her father, Major Ronald Ferguson, in his final years, after her sister moved to Australia.
