A small aircraft tragically crashed moments after taking off from London Southend Airport today (June 14). The aircraft said to be the Beech B200 Super Kind Air was taking off from Lelystad in the Netherlands when it lost control shortly after lifting around 4 p.m local time. As per the data from Flightradar24, the same plane completed multiple flights over the weekend including stops in Greece, Croatia and Germany. Eyewitnesses described the aircraft banking sharply to the left before flipping and crashing headfirst into the ground, triggering a massive fireball visible from miles away.

Flightradar, the live flight tracker that shows air traffic in realtime, has provided crucial data about the Beech B200 Super Kind Air small aircraft, flight SUZ1. “We believe this to be PH-ZAZ crashed on takeoff,” reads the post shared by Flightradar on X (formerly known as Twitter).According to Flightradar, the Beechcraft B200 Super King Air (PG-ZAZ) crashed shortly after takeoff from London Southend airport. The aircraft was flying with a vertical speed of 129 feet per minute and ground speed of 96 knots, suggesting a critical failure during the initial climb phase.
The data also highlights that the plane only reached 175 feet before crashing. The emergency crew arrived within minutes after the crash.
What Zeusch Aviation said about the crash
The Beechcraft B200 Super King Air (PG-ZAZ) involved in crash was a luxury private plane with eight seats. The plane is operated by a Dutch company, Zeusch Aviation which specialises in medical evacuation services and transplant flight.“We can confirm that Zeusch Aviation flight SUZ1 was involved in an accident today at London Southend Airport. We are actively supporting the authorities with the investigation and will provide updates on this page as more information becomes available,” said the company in a statement.
