While details surrounding how Peter, Nia, Mark, and Brian will factor into the ongoing battle against Veronica and the shadowy organization hunting down supes are being kept tightly under wraps, it’s clear the world of Supacell is expanding significantly following that jaw-dropping Season 1 cliffhanger.
While a Netflix representative confirmed the additions to the cast to us, they didn’t provide any additional details on their roles or the extent of their roles.
Koby Adom Joins the Directorial Team

In addition to the on-screen talent, there’s some serious movement behind the scenes. Koby Adom (Top Boy, Noughts + Crosses) is officially set to direct episodes this season, joining series creator and showrunner Rapman.
Rapman, who directed the lion’s share of the acclaimed first season, previously teased that Season 2 will serve as the dark evolution of his characters, famously comparing the first season to Batman Begins. Bringing Adom into the fold is a perfect match; his previous work on gritty, London-centric dramas promises to maintain the cinematic authenticity Supacell is praised for, while splitting the heavy lifting for what Rapman promises is going to be a “crazy” sophomore outing.
For those tracking the production timeline, cameras have been rolling on Season 2 since late 2025. Tosin Cole (Michael) and the core surviving crew are all expected to return as they gear up to take the fight directly to their oppressors.
No word on a release date yet, but it may not return to our screens until 2027.
