The 68th Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, went down at the Crypto.com Arena, on Sunday, Feb. 1 and aired live on CBS and Paramount+, where the show will stream on-demand.

Top nominees at this year’s ceremony included Kendrick Lamar, Jack Antonoff, Cirkut, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas, Sabrina Carpenter, Serban Ghenea and Tyler, the Creator, among others.

Performers included Best New Artist nominees Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Thomas, Olivia Dean, Sombr and The Marías, plus Justin Bieber, Carpenter, Tyler, the Creator, Clipse, Pharrell Williams and Bruno Mars.

Hollywood icon Cher presented Record of the Year at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

But first, Trevor Noah presented Cher with the Lifetime Achievement Award. “It’s a good thing that they did it now, because I have good genes and I wouldn’t have been here that much longer,” she joked on stage.

Following her acceptance speech, she began to walk off stage. Noah then asked, “Could we get you to announce the nominees? I could do it but its not the same, I don’t have the track record.”

Cher then returned to the stage — but after a teleprompter mix-up, the “Believe” singer accidentally announced the late Luther Vandross as the winner, when in reality, Kendrick Lamar and SZA won the award for their song “Luther” from Lamar’s album GNX.

Record of the Year Goes to Kendrick Lamar and SZA!

The two artists won Record of the Year for their collaboration “Luther” from Lamar’s GNX album.

Earlier tonight, “Luther” also won Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Lamar spoke about Luther Vandross’ legacy while accepting the award. Vandross’ 1982 rendition of “If This World Were Mine” with Cheryl Lynn is sampled on “Luther.” The song was originally performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Lamar became the most decorated Grammy-winning rapper of all time, with Record of the Year marking his 27th win.

Flack rose  to fame in the 1970s, with three No. 1 singles in the span of two years: “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” “Killing Me Softly with His Song” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love.”

“Killing Me Softly with His Song” was originally released by Lori Lieberman in 1972, but Flack’s version the following year became a chart-topping hit in the U.S. and beyond.

The Fugees covered the song on their 1996 album The Score, and their version is certified three times platinum by the RIAA for over 3 million units sold.

Reba McEntire performed “Trailblazer” with Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson during the In Memoriam segment of the 2026 Grammy Awards while her late stepson Brandon Blackstock was honored on screen.

Blackstock, a talent manager and Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband, died at 48 in August due to cancer.

“It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,” a rep for the Blackstock’s family told PEOPLE in a statement at the time. “Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”

“Trailblazer,” originally a collaboration with Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert, was nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2026 Grammys, but ultimately lost to “Amen” by Shaboozey and Jelly Roll.

Regina King made a surprise cameo in Tyler, The Creator’s 2026 Grammys performance, a colorful, retro-style homage to Los Angeles. King appeared as a technician at an auto shop, where she began by telling the rapper “I fixed the glass, alright, so you got a clear view.”

King’s monologue continued, “Put on some new tires. Keep moving forward. Watch out for them potholes, and don’t ever, ever look back in that rearview mirror. They just trying to remind you where you’ve been, ignoring where you’re going. Oh, and one more thing, if you ever find yourself going back to them, old places, you destroy them, or they gonna destroy you, you know what I’m saying? Now grab your keys.”

The performance featured the rapper in a series of unique suits as he sang “Thought I Was Dead” from his album Chromakopia and the viral song “Sugar On My Tongue” from his 2025 album Don’t Tap The Glass.

After continuously asking if Bad Bunny could perform, 2026 Grammys host Trevor Noah convinced the Puerto Rican musician to sing a line from the title track of his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS as a salsa band made a grand entrance.

Before the musician sang the lyric, Noah hinted at the song by translating the lyrics to English. “Wait, is that my song?” Bad Bunny asked with a smile.

Bad Bunny will soon take the stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, Feb. 8, and Trevor Noah said that he could not perform at the 2026 Grammys because of his “contract.”

When Noah asked if Bad Bunny was “jealous” seeing other artists perform at the Grammys, he paused, before quipping, “No, maybe a little.”

After acknowledging that Mitchell enjoyed Mars’ performance of “I Just Might,” the host walked over to the Blue singer and Brandi Carlile. He asked for a “a moment for Joni Mitchell,” which was met with a standing ovation.

Noah noted the Laurel Canyon legend’s “11 career Grammys” amid her win for Best Historical Album for Joni Mitchell Archives – Volume 4: The Asylum Years (1976-1980).

Lady Gaga delivered a pyro-filled performance of her hit song “Abracadabra” from her 2025 album Mayhem.

The “Disease” singer took the stage in a long black skirt paired with black leather boots and a black and red feathered top, complete with a large umbrella-esque headpiece reminiscent of a Venus flytrap. Opting for pared-back choreography, Gaga instead played the keyboard live onstage and allowed her powerhouse vocals to shine.

Following her performance, Gaga took home the award for Best Pop Album, marking her 15th Grammys win.

The country star told the Wicked actor and jazz musician, “I can’t believe that I get to present this award with the Wizard of Oz himself. It’s like ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ meets ‘Somewhere Over Laredo.”

Goldblum responded, “I love that song. Thank you so much. You’re so, so sweet. But listen, jazzcat though I am, I really have the deepest respect, Lainey, for all of the great artists of country today — and especially for you, Lainey.”

“I’ll take it,” replied Wilson. “We will make some beautiful music together at some point.”

Bad Bunny earned the Grammy Award for Best Música Urbana for his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS and began his acceptance speech with a call to action: “ICE Out.”

“Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say, ICE out,” the Puerto Rican musician began, in reference to increased Immigration Customs Enforcement presence in the United States. “We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens — we are humans and we are Americans,” he said to applause from the audience.

Bad Bunny’s album brought a global spotlight to Latin culture and Puerto Rican history, and he performed a residency in his native Puerto Rico in support of the album before embarking on a tour across Central and South America.

Bieber took the stage in boxers and socks while shirtless. He performed the paired back version of the song with purple electric guitar, which he used to make a loop live on stage using a loop pedal.

His wife Hailey Bieber was seen smiling singing along in support as the crowd cheered.

The pop star last performed at the Grammys in 2022 when he sang his song “Peaches” alongside Daniel Caesar and Giveon.

2026 Grammy Awards host Trevor Noah was met with applause when he made a joke about Nicki Minaj’s recent appearance in Washington, D.C. in support of President Donald Trump.

“Nicki Minaj is not here,” Noah, 41, quipped in his opening monologue. “She is not here. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues.”

Impersonating Trump, 79, Noah added, “Actually Nicki I have the biggest ass, I have it. Everybody’s saying it, Nicki. I know they say it’s you, but it’s me — WAP WAP WAP, look at it baby.”

Chrissy Teigen gave the host a thumbs up in reaction to his comment.

“I really wanted to look like Athena,” Kesha explained in an interview with E! News of her white feathery dress, referencing the Greek goddess Athena.

“I’ve been really inspired by Athena recently and I wanted to give freedom because this is my first Grammy weekend as a free woman, owning the rights to my voice, a record label head, and I just really wanted my outside to match my insides,” she added.

The 2026 Grammys will feature a performance in tribute to Kelly’s late father Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025 at age 76.

Kelly, who walked the carpet with fiancé Sid Wilson, said she’s holding up “okay” at the moment. “I won’t lie. I won’t be one of those people that say I’m fine, ‘cause I’m not,” she admitted.

“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life. But I have my man, and I have my gorgeous baby. And my mom and my brother and I are so bonded,” added Kelly. “I didn’t think we could ever get more bonded but we did. My father was one of the greatest men to ever walk the planet.”

Lainey Wilson is sharing her thoughts on the Recording Academy’s changes in the country music categories — and AI-generated music.

For the 2026 Grammys, the Recording Academy introduced Best Traditional Country Album and changed Best Country Album to Best Contemporary Country Album.

“Honestly I feel like that’s a good call, ‘cause I feel like there’s so many types of country happening right now,” Wilson, 33, told PEOPLE and EW on the red carpet. “Honestly it feels like it’s a little bit of everything for everybody. I’m excited to see what other categories it splits into, ‘cause that’s the way country is growing and going. I think it’s cool.”

Wilson went on to criticize the use of AI in country music. “We ain’t ready for that. Don’t be listening to that,” she adds.

Coco Jones is opening up about her upcoming nuptials.

The R&B star — a past Grammy winner who earned a Best R&B Album nomination this year for Why Not More? — is engaged to NBA star Donovan Mitchell and teased the upcoming wedding on PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly‘s live stream.

“Everything is amazing. It’s definitely so new, you know? I’ve worn dresses, and I’ve planned events, and all those things before in my job, but this is an indescribable feeling to be planning a whole wedding,” she told hosts Patrick Gomez and Janine Rubenstein on the 2026 Grammys red carpet.

As for Jones’ wedding must-haves? “I need my glam to be sickening, and I want it to be intimate,” she teased.

Jones previously told PEOPLE getting engaged felt like “the biggest contract I’ve ever signed.”

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Defying Gravity” from Wicked: Part I during the 2026 Grammys Premiere Ceremony.

The Wicked: Part I soundtrack was also nominated at the 2026 Grammys for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, while its score earned a nod for Best Score Soundtrack Album for Visual Media. Both awards went to the Sinners soundtrack and score, respectively.

The win comes after Wicked: For Good didn’t receive any nominations at the upcoming 98th Academy Awards.

Wicked: Part I previously earned 10 nominations at the 97th Academy Awards and won in two categories: Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

The 2026 Grammy nominations were announced in November, and Kendrick Lamar led the pack with nine nods in total.

Lady Gaga and producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff followed closely behind with seven apiece.

Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas and Sabrina Carpenter each earned six, while several artists earned five, including Doechii, SZA, writer-producer Andrew Watt, Tyler, the Creator and Pusha T & Malice of Clipse.
