👉 The countdown to the next bite has officially begun.
According to What’s on Netflix, AMC’s Interview with the Vampire is not leaving the platform anytime soon. In fact, it has been confirmed that its time on the streaming service has been extended to September 30, 2026. We also believe that additional AMC shows were given the same extension. Other shows like Fear the Walking Dead and Dark Winds were supposed to leave Netflix in August 2025. And yet, they are still available to stream on the platform. Interview with the Vampire Season 2 debuts on Netflix on September 30, 2025.
Premiering on AMC in 2022, Interview with the Vampire Season 1 follows immortal vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac as he recounts his toxic relationship with his creator, Lestat, and their adopted vampire daughter, Claudia, to a journalist named Daniel Molloy. Season 2 picks up right where the previous season left off, where Louis de Pointe du Lac and Claudia escape their past in New Orleans for a new life in Europe. Interview with the Vampire features a talented ensemble cast, including Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, Bailey Bass as Claudia, Assad Zaman as Armand and Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy.
Has AMC Renewed’Interview with the Vampire’ for Season 3?

You betcha. Days before the Season 2 finale premiere, AMC Networks announced that Interview with the Vampire would be coming back for Season 3. And that’s not all. The network also released the official synopsis for the upcoming season. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the logline reads:
“Resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy best-seller Interview With the Vampire, the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can — by starting a band and going on tour. Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma. No Auto-Tuning. No Trigger Warnings. All Feels Amplified.”
Though Season 3 of Interview with the Vampire is expected to be released sometime in 2026, we wouldn’t be surprised if the “licensed single-year” agreement AMC and Netflix currently have in place would lead to another extension for Seasons 1 and 2, allowing subscribers to have access to the show for much longer. For now, Season 1 of Interview with the Vampire is available to watch on Netflix.
