Prince Harry’s adoring look at his wife as she walked down the aisle was met with a three-word compliment as the pair spoke their vows.

A lip reader deciphered the exact words Prince Harry ushered to his bride, Meghan Markle, as they stood in front of the whole world to say their marriage vows. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially tied the knot on May 19, 2018 at Windsor Castle.
Meghan was “shocked” to see people lining both sides of the street as she and her mother, Doria Ragland, made the journey to the prestigious venue. But when she and Harry stood side-by-side to authorise their marriage, it felt like “just the two of them.”
It was when his bride, who was walked down the aisle by his father, the then Prince Charles, met his gaze for the first time, that Harry is said to have mouthed: “You look amazing.” This was not picked up by his microphone.
The fresh details of their wedding day were unveiled in their Netflix docu-series, released earlier this year. It looked at their time at the forefront of the Royal Family, before stepping down in 2020.
The first part concentrated on their relationship and how it developed, from the announcement of their engagement – with the final four episodes focusing on their wedding day, offering a more in-depth look at what went on.
The Duchess recalled: “What I didn’t know was people would be lining both sides of the street. I mean, this was a 15-minute drive. Me and my mom were like, ‘What is going on? Look at all these people!’”
In the Netflix series, Prince Harry explained: “The world was watching us, but when we were actually at the altar, as far as I was concerned, it was just the two of us.” Shortly after the official ceremony, the couple left the church and posed for crowds at the top of the steps.
Beaming, Meghan turned to her new husband and asked: “Do we kiss?” Prince Harry smiled in return and replied “yes,” as the newlyweds shared a peck in front of floods of royal fans and the world’s media.
The series also featured unseen photographs from the couple’s reception, which included a performance from Elton John and a ceremonial cake cutting that involved a sword rather than a traditional knife.
Reflecting on their wedding day, Meghan said: “H and I are really, really good at finding each other in the chaos.” Throughout the series, the couple fondly referred to one another with the nicknames ‘H’ and ‘M’.
She continued: “When we find each other, we reconnect to, like, ‘Oh it’s you. It’s you.’ It’s not that the rest of it doesn’t matter – but the rest of it feels temporary.”
