Prince William and Queen Camilla Got Into a ‘Huge Argument’ Over King Charles: ‘No Coming Back’ (Exclusive)

Prince William and Queen Camilla are divided over how much responsibility King Charles III should continue to shoulder as he undergoes treatment for cancer.

“William wants his father to slow down and take a proper step back,” a source tells Examiner. “But every time he suggests it, Camilla gets in Charles’ ear and convinces him it would be a disaster to show any weakness right now.”

Things came to a head between William, 43, and Camilla, 78, over a recent state banquet that Charles, 77, hosted for Nigerian president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and first lady Oluremi Tinubu at Windsor Castle.

“[It] caused a huge argument because William did not feel Charles was well enough to attend,” reveals the source. “But Camilla insisted they both needed to be there, so they went. In the end, all anyone talked about was how unwell Charles looked.”

Charles has been battling cancer since 2024 and while his treatments have been reduced in the New Year, Buckingham Palace has not announced that monarch is in remission.

“William’s furious that Camilla seems to care more about promoting herself and protecting her position than she does about protecting Charles,” dishes the source.

As Examiner previously reported, the Queen Consort is desperate to secure her future within the royal family — and the perks that she currently enjoys — in the event of Charles’ passing.

“William is past the point of even trying to hide his distaste for Camilla. You can see it written all over his face whenever they’re in the same room,” says the source. “Camilla lost his trust ages ago and once you lose William’s trust, there’s really no coming back.”

Adds the source, “No doubt, once he’s officially king, booting her out will be at the top of his agenda.”
