She has been at the center of a storm recently

Blake Lively would have been hoping for positive press after the release of ‘It Ends With Us’, but the resurfacing of an old interview clip has turned public opinion against her.
Lively helped to produce and star in the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover‘s book ‘It Ends With Us’ and much of the press centered on the rumored falling out between Lively and her co-star when making the movie.
Now, the situation has changed and fans are instead focused on a 2016 interview which caused the interviewer, Kjersti Flaa, to almost quit her job and pursue a new career.
In the clip, Flaa compliments Lively on her ‘little bump’ as the Gossip Girl star was openly pregnant at the time.
For some reason, Lively took issue with the comment and actually returned the comment to Flaa, even though the interviewer was not pregnant.
Flaa provides more detail
She spoke on her YouTube channel this week to give more context, explaining that she is infertile and Lively is yet to apologize.
“It affected me for a while ’cause it made me nervous when I was interviewing other people after that. And I blamed myself for it for a long time ’cause I felt like I did or said something wrong,” the celebrity journalist, 51, said.
Flaa said that’s the “reason” she “waited so long” to post a clip of the sit-down, which took place alongside Lively’s “Cafe Society” co-star Parker Posey.
Flaa insisted she “hadn’t read up on all the other controversy” surrounding Lively and her new movie, “It Ends With Us,” when she uploaded the “horrific” interview, saying it was merely a “coincidence.”
Flaa felt Lively, 36, was putting out “mean-girl energy” during their chat, explaining that it made her feel “left out or bullied.”
“No one came out and apologized, and they probably told her, ‘Don’t come out [and say sorry], don’t react, don’t do anything. We’ll take care of this for you. We’ll just say that it’s the journalist’s fault and that you were offended by her and then we’ll just plant some other good, positive stories,'” Flaa hypothesized, adding, “I think that’s the problem.”
