This time, they’ve gone full Bridgerton with some super funny PSAs. In a recent Instagram carousel post, the Mumbai police shared several reminders about seatbelts, helmets, and other safety measures, all delivered with a witty Bridgerton-inspired twist.

The caption accompanying the post read like Lady Whistledown’s society paper which started with,

“Dearest Gentle Reader,”

They took iconic lines from the series and cleverly linked them to road safety gear such as helmets and seat belts. For example, a quote like, “You are the bane of my existence and the object of all my desires,” was used to describe the importance of helmets.

The Mumbai police chose a dialogue from the series Queen Charlotte, which is a spin-off on the Queen in Bridgerton that says, “I will stand with you between heaven and the earth,” for PSAs on seat belts since it acts as a protector, standing between life and potential disaster in an accident.

Many avid fans of the popular show flocked to the comments section to praise the creativity of the social media team handling Mumbai police’s digital presence. A user wrote, “Someone should actually give the person who comes up with these ideas for the post an Oscar 😂you rock.”
