Police say new evidence has intensified the case against surgeon Michael McKee, who is accused of killing his former partner, Monique Tepe, after investigators allegedly recovered the murder weapon in his possession.
Authorities described the discovery as a critical development in an already disturbing investigation — one that has now expanded beyond physical violence to include allegations of prolonged emotional abuse.
According to law enforcement officials, McKee was taken into custody after detectives executed search and arrest operations connected to Tepe’s killing.
