Beauty in Black is the latest soapy drama on Netflix, and across its two seasons this one has been quite the messy, turbulent, rollercoaster ride!
If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be curious if there will be a season 3 after that ending. Well, here’s what we know:
What is Beauty in Black about?
Beauty in Black centers on two women with very contrasting lives becoming connected. Kimmie is a stripper who finds herself entangled with the Bellarie family when she befriends a man named Horace at the strip club. Meanwhile, Mallory faces a huge lawsuit at her firm, Beauty in Black, which threatens to destroy everything she’s built.
If that wasn’t bad enough, all the Bellarie family fight for a share of the ever-diminishing pie, wanting to make as much money as they can, regardless of who may get hurt.
Season 2 then follows the immediately aftermath of Kimmie’s marriage to Horace, and becoming the COO. This, of course, has shocked the family who have their knives out, ready to take her down.

Has Beauty in Black been renewed for season 3?
At the time of writing, Beauty in Black has not been renewed for season 3. We do know that season 2 – much like the first season – is being split into two 8 episode drops so we’ve got part 2 to come in the future. This will likely arrive at some time early 2026.
Generally Netflix would gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show though, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made. So far, Beauty in Black has had a pretty mixed reaction online from critics and audiences alike. However, we do know that the viewing figures have been pretty high for Beauty in Black.
Audience feedback has been mixed in particular, while the story has plenty of contrivances and issues. However, this aside, the show is very moreish and th0se looking for a soapy watch, will find exactly what they want here.
Given the way this show is set up, and the high audience numbers, we predict that this will be renewed for a third season.
What we know about season 3 so far:
Not much is known about Beauty in Black season 3 at the moment. As mentioned above, we do know that there’s another part to come for this one and presumably more shenanigans for the Bellarie family to contend with as well.
Should this be renewed, each episode should last around 56 minutes, with many of the main cast returning to reprise their roles.
