Carol Peletier continues her search for her best friend in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2.
Dubbed The Book of Carol, the second installment of The Walking Dead spinoff returns on Sunday, September 29 on AMC (streaming on AMC+). The network dropped a new trailer and Season 3 renewal at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 (see the SDCC trailer above), and now AMC is sharing a deeper look at Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Clémence Poésy, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi in new episodic photos.
The new season picks up where The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon left off, following fan-favorite characters Daryl and Carol. They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend, and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest. Additionally, Genet’s (Anne Charrier) movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.
The series has already been renewed for Season 3, which will be set and filmed in Spain. Now that Daryl has formed a bond with Isabelle and Laurent, will they take the journey to Spain with him and Carol? Season 2 will have to reveal how Daryl and Carol reunite, and how Carol gets along with Daryl’s new community, first.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol also stars Laika Blanc Francard, Charrier, Romain Levi, and Eriq Ebouaney, and is executive produced by showrunner David Zabel, Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, Daniel Percival, Jason Richman, and Steve Squillante.
