Game of Thrones cast says no to House of the Dragon.
Peter Dinklage’s iconic role as the witty and wise Tyrion Lannister in the original HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones captivated audiences and cemented his place as a fan favorite. In a remarkable feat, Tyrion emerged as one of the few to survive all eight seasons, leaving an indelible mark on the world of Westeros. The world of Westeros continues to captivate audiences, but it seems that not everyone is eager to revisit the Seven Kingdoms.
Peter Dinklage talks about not watching House of the Dragon
Peter Dinklage revealed that he hasn’t watched House of the Dragon, the prequel series to Game of Thrones. While he’s not ruling out the possibility of watching it in the future, Dinklage admitted that he’s currently enjoying other shows and may revisit Westeros at a later time. He confessed that he misses the experience of working on Game of Thrones, which was a significant part of his life for nine years. He is grateful for the time he had on the show. In a recent interview with Flagrant, Peter Dinklage mentioned
“I haven’t watched House of the Dragon because I feel like – I don’t know – I just spent so many years doing that show. I’m watching other things now, maybe one day, but it is wild.”
Game of Thrones Alumni Decline to Watch House of the Dragon
A number of prominent Game of Thrones cast members have publicly admitted to avoiding the prequel series, House of the Dragon. This includes Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, and Peter Dinklage, who have all expressed discomfort with revisiting the world of Westeros. While they have shared different reasons for their reluctance, they all seem to agree that it’s too soon – or perhaps too strange – to dive back into the fantasy realm that was their creative home for so many years.
