Meghan Markle’s gesture of flicking her coat to show her baby bump has resurfaced and it triggered fake pregnancy rumors once again.
A clip of the Duchess of Sussex taken in different occasions is making rounds online. In the short video, Markle is wearing a coat and she has this habit of flicking her coat to show her already obvious baby bump. The clip received various reactions from the online users who saw it, with some finding it creepy and others concluding that the duchess’ pregnancy was fake.
“A fake pregnancy. I wonder why this hasn’t been released. The public needs to know,” @Joannes01005733 opined.
“Displaying a fake baby bump so dramatically! Omg she is mentally ill!” @_cewhitehead added.
“One of her worst days as preggers mum. The traitorous moonbump fail as well as embarrassing coat flicking PR fail,” @RoccoHowat1 wrote.
Meanwhile, another netizen said it was kind of funny because whenever Markle flicks her coat, she always accompanies it with a “creepy smile.”
“This is funny because she always flashes that creepy smile as she pulls the coat back,” @Septimbersells commented with a laughing emoji.
It wasn’t the only video showing Markle flicking her coat to show off her baby bump. In January 2019, months before she gave birth to Archie, the Duchess of Sussex was still active in making royal engagements. At the time, Markle has been seen touching her tummy in public and flicking her coat several times to ensure that her bump was in the spotlight.
Some find Markle’s actions “weird.” Meanwhile, many slammed Prince Harry’s wife for her habit.
“This is the most damning clip: she literally stops clapping momentarily to ‘flick’ back the coat & expose the bump — all because the cameras are flashing & she wants the perfect picture of her & the golden meal ticket,” one wrote on Twitter.
Even if Markle already gave birth, many are still convinced that she was actually not pregnant. There is also a video of Markle on YouTube where the duchess is doing some squats while wearing heels. Many were surprised at how she made it look so easy despite her growing baby bump. Also, Markle was only a few weeks away from her due date when she did it. Several also noticed that there was a popping sound when she stood up and her stomach immediately got bigger, prompting them to speculate that she was wearing a moonbump.
