Wednesday Season 1 introduced the world to Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White as two Outcast students at Nevermore. The latter did not return for Season 2, but a reunion with Ortega was imminent after they were cast in Winter Spring Summer or Fall. The romance film had its premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and had a theatrical release in April. A new report reveals that viewers will have the opportunity to watch the film at home from next month. Winter Spring Summer or Fall will be available to stream on Paramount+ beginning September 1.

Tiffany Paulsen directed the film from a script by Dan Schoffer. In Winter Spring Summer or Fall, Ortega plays Remi, and Hynes White plays Barnes. The two teens meet by chance in the winter of their senior year and spend four transformative days together across the seasons. It also stars Marisol Nichols (Riverdale), Elias Kacavas (Euphoria), Adam Rodriguez (Criminal Minds), and Jacqueline Emerson (The Hunger Games).

‘Wednesday’ and ‘Winter Spring Summer Or Fall’ Will Stream In the Same Month

This September will be great for Ortega’s fans with these two projects set to release within a few days of each other. After the first half of Wednesday Season 2 premiered on August 6, part two is set for September 3, when the four remaining episodes will be released. Part 2 is set to bring new and familiar faces with the anticipated debut of Lady Gaga and the return of Gwendoline Christie as Weems. The latter died in Season 1, but “When we got into the writers’ room, we were determined to bring Gwen back,” series creator Miles Millar said in an interview. “The audience has fallen in love with the Wednesday-Weems relationship … so we’re bringing her back in the second half of the season in a very special way that is as confrontational as it is delicious.”

Speaking to Collider as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, co-creators Alfred Gough and Millar teased an even more bonkers second part. “The final four episodes of Season 2 unearth darker secrets, summon surprise cameos, and deliver twists so sharp they make even Wednesday flinch,” they said in a statement. They also teased a “certainly an impactful role” when asked what viewers should expect from Lady Gaga’s character.
