Instead, James Hetfield and co. will be at Las Vegas Sphere from October 2026 through March 2027 as part of their extended ‘Life Burns Faster’ residency.
Originally only set for eight dates, the stint now spans 24 shows — or 12 “no repeat weekends” where the band plays Thursday and Saturday concerts with totally unique set lists — due to overwhelming demand.
And, as of Friday, March 6, tickets are officially available for each and every Sin City show on their docket.
So, rather than make you wade through the muck, our team went ahead and found the best prices on tickets for all 24 Metallica ‘Life Burns Faster’ Sphere concerts.
Based on our findings, the lowest price for any one gig was $469 including fees on StubHub at the time of publication for Saturday, Feb. 27, 2026.
In the event you’d like to attend both Thursday and Saturday to get the full “no repeat weekend” experience, two-day passes are going for as low as $734 including fees (those shows go down Jan. 28 and 30, 2027).
“Whether you’ve seen Metallica from the upper reaches of a stadium or arena, at an intimate club or theater gig or from the famed Snake Pit surrounded by the 360-degree M72 stage, Sphere’s technology, including the world’s highest resolution LED display that wraps up, over and around the audience; Sphere Immersive Sound, which delivers audio with unmatched clarity and precision to every guest; and multi-sensory 4D technology, will present a wholly unique and entirely new Metallica experience for all,” a press release claims.
While we can’t guarantee what tracks the Rock Hall of Famers have planned, Set List FM reports they delivered biggies like “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Sad But True,” “Nothing Else Matters” and “Creeping Death” on night one while reserving “Enter Sandman,” “One,” “Ride The Lightning,” “Whiplash” and “Blackened” for night two.

Metallica new music
On April 14, 2023, Metallica dropped their 11th studio album “72 Seasons.”
The thrumming, high-velocity record quickly sets the tone with the non-stop thrill ride title track and then refuses to let up throughout its healthy 77-minute runtime.
Indisputable highlights include the snaking “Sleepwalk My Life Away,” nakedly raw “You Must Burn!” and unrelenting “Lux Æterna.” Don’t expect a second to breathe; Metallica goes hard the entire time with nary a moment to rest. Just the way it should be.
To hear for yourself, you can listen to “72 Seasons” here.
