‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 returns with Part 2. Here’s when it comes out.

Alas, “Bridgerton’s” social season returns after a short hiatus. Following the break, the ton is busy preparing for the next ball, and Mr. Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), whose marriage the queen is betting on, is wallowing in misery and regret after Miss Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha) turned down his offer to be his mistress.

Thompson, in an interview with USA TODAY, teased that the two had “completely misunderstood each other.”

“You’ve got this awful knot now that they’ve tied themselves in where you’re like, ‘How the hell are they going to find themselves back together?'” Thompson said. “They’ve completely misunderstood each other. But I think that’s a big break as well. Maybe Benedict hasn’t entertained the idea of losing Sophie, and so suddenly.” Season 4 of “Bridgerton” kicked off with Lady Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) much-awaited masquerade ball, where five minutes after saying he will never find a woman in the ton who understands him, the second Bridgerton son finds himself enamored by a captivating Lady in Silver who looks as out of place at the ball as he feels. Sparks fly and the two banter, dance and even kiss.

But when the masks are supposed to come off at the stroke of midnight, the lady flees, leaving only a glove behind and setting the stage for the Cinderella fairytale Thompson had earlier teased.

While by the end of Part 1, Benedict has not managed to uncover the elusive Lady in Silver, despite his family and Lady Whistledown’s (Nicola Coughlan) efforts, Benedict being Benedict finds himself drawn to a maid, Sophie, after saving her from assault and spending time with her at the Bridgerton’s fairy tale cottage in the countryside, where the two are forced to take shelter.

When they return to Mayfair from their countryside holiday, Benedict sets Sophie up as a maid at the Bridgerton mansion. Despite the promise to stay out of her way, he finds himself unable to resist, eventually succumbing to his feelings and declaring himself in the worst possible manner by asking Sophie to be his mistress, leaving viewers on a cliffhanger.

As for the Lady in Silver, Benedict dismisses her as another idea he was trying to chase.

As Benedict tries to make amends with Sophie and as Viscount Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) makes his long-awaited return to Mayfair, here’s what to know about “Bridgerton” Season 4, Part 2, including the release date, time and cast.

When does ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4, Part 2 release?

Season 4, Part 2 of “Bridgerton” will drop on Netflix on Feb. 26 at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT.

Season 4 premiered with Part 1 on Thursday, Jan. 29. Like previous seasons, “Bridgerton” Season 4 consists of eight episodes.

The first four episodes of “Bridgerton” Season 4 are available to stream on Netflix, with the remaining four dropping on Feb. 26 at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT.
