‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Episode Release Schedule: How To Watch And When New Episodes Air In The UK

Your comprehensive guide to the latest season’s viewing details

Finally,  is back. As longtime fans of the series will know, a new season awaits (quite literally, on Netflix, as well as in the ton – in the form of a new matchmaking social season for London’s finest debutantes), and on January 29, the hit show will make its way back onto our screens for its fourth instalment.

The focus of this series will be Benedict (Luke Thompson), the second Bridgerton son who, up until now, has avoided romantic commitment; previous seasons have seen him navigate his sexuality, as well as explore his passion for art. Opting for a more bohemian lifestyle in comparison to his siblings, Benedict has never been a fan of settling down – despite his older and younger brother both being happily married. However, all of this changes when he meets the mysterious Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.

Unbeknown to Benedict, the Lady in Silver is Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a resourceful maid, who lives worlds away from the life of her new romantic interest. In a recent interview with Netflix’s Tudum, the series showrunner Jess Brownell discussed the new pair’s dynamic. ‘Benedict lives in a fantasy world. Sophie lives in a hard reality,’ she said. ‘You have two characters who are at opposite ends of a pole, and rather than either of them needing to get all the way to the other side, they both need to travel to the middle… Between fantasy and reality, true love lies in the middle — neither one creates the circumstances for romance to bloom. You have to embrace a little bit of both.’
