Insiders are buzzing as a heartbreaking truth reportedly sits behind William & Kate’s decision to keep Prince George’s new school a tightly guarded secret — a move said to be driven by protection, fears of renewed pressure, and a quiet battle the couple refuses to let their son face again 👀💔👇

Insiders Allege the Heartbreaking Reason Why William & Kate Won’t Reveal Prince George’s New School

For months now, royal fans have wondered what Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales (also known as Kate Middleton) will do with their eldest son, Prince George’s, education. While many believe the top contenders for George’s continuing education are at either Eton College or Marlborough College in Sept 2026, the Wales family is keeping it quiet, and for a rather devastating reason.

A palace security source said via OK Magazine that George’s security is getting beefed up over potential assassination and kidnapping threats. They said, “The alert over George’s safety is real and it’s serious. Threat monitoring spiked the moment discussions about George’s next school began circulating. That’s why the family is determined to keep the location under wraps.”

The ceremony of Trooping the Colour is believed to have first been performed during the reign of King Charles II. Since 1748, the Trooping of the Colour has marked the official birthday of the British Sovereign. Over 1500 parading soldiers and almost 300 horses take part in the event. Another insider added: “Scenarios ranging from coordinated disruption to direct attempts to reach him have been run through. The fewer people who know in advance where he is going to be schooled, the safer he is from the likes of kidnappers and terror outfits.”

And a third insider even added, “If William and Kate were worried about outside attention before, it’s been amplified dramatically now. For them, keeping the school under wraps isn’t merely a preference – it’s a safeguard.”

So, heartbreakingly so, the family allegedly has to worry about George’s safety above all else when deciding the next steps of his educational journey.

Sadly, these measures aren’t unprecedented with the British royal family. For instance, per Hello, Princess Anne was at the center of a kidnapping attempt in 1974, along with an assassination attempt made against Queen Elizabeth in 1981 and King Charles in 1994.

Now, this potential plan doesn’t come as a surprise since back in 2018, a man named Husnain Rashid was sentenced to life in prison for encouraging others to plan an attack on George (and even sharing images of George’s school).
