Showrunner Melanie Halsall previously said she wanted to tell more “intergenerational” stories in a potential season 3
Season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys just dropped on Netflix, and boy, was there a lot to unpack. Especially that ending. Without giving too many spoilers for those yet to catch the new series (but let’s be real: who hasn’t binged the 10 episodes already?), the season closes with Jackie admitting that she’s in love with Cole.
Cute, yes. But what about the fact she’d previously told Cole’s brother Alex that she was in love with him, too, just a few episodes prior? Oh, the drama! We just love a juicy love triangle!
So, as we make sense of everything that happened — and the fact that there’s clearly *so* much more story to tell — let’s take a deep dive into whether there’ll be a season 3. Here’s everything we know so far:

Will there be a My Life with the Walter Boys season 3?
Good news, MLWTWB’s fans, season 3 has been confirmed! Just before season 2 landed on the streaming platform on 28 August, Netflix shared a video on social media announcing a third batch of episodes had been given the green light.
The footage featured Nikki Rodriguez, who plays Jackie, Noah LaLonde, who plays Cole, and Ashby Gentry, who plays Alex, together in a studio with the caption: “When you are still waiting for season 2, but we just started production on season 3.” Err, exciting!

When will My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 come out?
Despite season 3 being confirmed, there’s no release date just yet. However, Tudum did reveal that the new series would drop sometime in 2026. Melanie Halsall, showrunner and executive producer, told the Netflix site that the crew, production team, and actors still have “a lot of things to do.”
What will My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 be about?
My Life with the Walter Boys is based on the two books by Ali Novak. So, with limited novel material to go off for season 3, it’s presumed the screenwriters will take more of a leading role.
Going off season 2 content, we know that the new episodes will probably address George’s (the Walter boys’ father, played by Marc Blucas) cliffhanger accident — will he survive, or will the Walter family be changed forever? Should he make it, we can guarantee George’s financial issues will come into play, too.
Of course, there’s also the major elephant in the room: Alex heard Jackie telling Cole that she loves him. So the main question here is, which Walter brother will Jackie end up with, if any?

My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 cast
Again, nothing is set in stone. However, due to the show literally centring around Jackie, Alex and Cole, it’s more than obvious that the love triangle trio will be back to create more drama.
The rest of the Walter family will also likely make a reappearance. This includes Katherine (Sarah Rafferty), the mother of Cole, Alex, and the rest of the Walter siblings: Will, Danny, Nathan, Jordan, Benny, and Parker, who are also expected to return. Despite George’s health scare at the end of season 2, it’s also suspected he’ll be back.
Other characters we’ll likely see again include George’s nephews, Isaac and Lee.
My Life with the Walter Boys season 3 is now streaming on Netflix.
