The Abandons Season 2 Release Date
Netflix hasnât renewed The Abandons for more episodes. At least not yet. The streaming service sometimes waits a while to assess how a show performs before making a decision.

What Could Happen in The Abandons Season 2?
Set in the lawless Washington Territory of the 1850s, The Abandons stars Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson as powerful matriarchs, Fiona Nolan and Constance Van Ness. Their families are locked in a bitter fight for land and survival.
Fiona, a devout Irish woman, has built a found family of orphans and outcasts. She protects them fiercely and refuses to give up their home. Across town, Constance controls the wealth and influence of the Van Ness dynasty. Sheâs determined to expand her empire and take advantage of the regionâs untapped riches.
As the women clash, old wounds and buried secrets rise to the surface, while violence spreads. The feud soon escalates into open war, forcing everyone to make difficult choices.
The Abandons is intense, and its focus on women makes it refreshing for the genre. Add some excellent costumes into the mix and western fans have a good chance of being smitten.
The first season culminates in a brutal confrontation between Fiona and Constance. By the time the end credits roll, youâre unsure of who, if anyone, makes it out alive. The Abandons season 2 will likely resolve the cliffhanger, while continuing to follow the survivors in the aftermath.
